Testament's new album, "Formation of Damnation"

Band: Testament
Album: Formation of Damnation (2008)

After nearly 10 years, Testament has been living under the radar of the metal scene without any new albums or singles being released. It debuted in Apirl earlier this year and has received a great amount of attention, particularly from long time fans. I just recently discovered Testament after listening to "The Absence"'s album "Rides of the Plague", for which they did the Testament cover "Into the Pit".

After going through all the albums, when I found out about their latest album, I was surprised and shocked, running to grab a copy for myself. What I found could only be created by Testament themselves; a new brutal, ear-bleeding sound of thrash similar to their last album, "The Gathering". Here's a video example of what I mean.

Despite the Transformer-esque name, this song, "More than meets the eye" is truly an awesome song and only one out of many. Testament has brought their old experience into a modern sound of what thrash is suppose to be about.

I expect Testament to come back strongly with a bloody vengeance. HAIL METALHEADS!
