Anyways, I found a used copy of one of their live concerts from Houston in 1985...they had sung stuff from both of their first albums ... The Hurting, and Songs from the Big Chair. That got me interested in listening to The Hurting album from 1982 alot more. I'm familiar with the Top40 hits they had from that album like Mad World, Change, Pale Shelter. But ever since I got that live CD, I've been playing back the other songs from the original studio album like the title track, Suffer The Children, Memories Fade, and Start of the Breakdown. Just wondering what others think of that album and whether it is good (manly) or wussy (unmanly)? I think that it is good for a young man or older man to listen to this album that it might help to sort out his past (dysfuncitonal) family life. Roland put out another album that deals with healing the family tree / dysfunctional family -- Raoul and the Kings of Spain.
