I think that there is a myth going around that most men like stupid girls. Where did women get this idea? Well, I don't like stupid girls.

Perhaps it is because attractive girls end up stupid because they dont have as much pressure on them to be smart. Or perhaps they are distracted from intellectual matters by vanity, so women get the idea that this superficiality or stupidity is part of what makes them attractive, when actually it is their beauty that makes them attractive. Also, I think that girly girl culture is on it's own cosmetic planet. Women notice things that most guys don't notice or care about like well maintained eyebrows, painted toenails, glitter, fashion accessories, and probably a whole lot more stuff that I don't even know about. But seriously, women have thier own standards of beauty that diverge from those of men, but yet they seem totally oblivious to this. I think that women really care more about looking good by other womens standards, than by mens standards. They think that they are better at judging other women than men are, so how can they blame men for thier high standards?

Anyhow, being obsessed with your appearance and being stupid are two entirely separate things, Pink seems to be ignoring that distinction in her video. Pink is alright though. Props to Pink!

My girls play baseball with me, love Barbie, and we read the great poets together.

Almost all little girls love Barbie dolls...I see nothing wrong with that! Playing with Barbie dolls and being a Barbie doll are two different things.
