What have I done?
Recently I went out and got my kids the game they've wanted for so long...it's called "Rock Band" and it's a game for the PS-3, comes fully equipped with a makeshift drum set, microphone, and guitar. Oh how they love me for this...but I've been continuously asking myself ever since...what have I done?
I just started a new quarter in college and I have three online classes...yep...lots of studying to do at home. And whilst I am trying to debate heavy topics online in my criminal justice classes (like police corruption), and delving into the realm of algebraic story problems (oh joy) - I've got one kid singing "Paranoid" loudly (and off-key) in the background and another child beating on the drums (with no rhythm whatsoever), and two friends of theirs playing one guitar each, only one room away from me, and it isn't far enough. I can't describe what it all sounds like...but I guarantee you it doesn't sound like music.
I feel like I've been skewered through the skull into the brain with a blunt object..(a drum stick)!

It just occurred to me...Christmas is coming soon. You want some revenge against an ex-wife who has custody of the kids? Get the kids this game for Christmas.

I am goi to get this game for me and my son to play.
Thankfully I know when to turn the thing off. And all the pleas of unfairness fall on a blank stare and deaf ears.
Maybe you can learn that look too especially during your study time.Chevalier.

Really? I've always wanted to learn how to play the drums!
My folks said NO WAY.
I learned to play the flute instead.

Ha I (was forced to learn) learned the flute as well in school. What a waste of time.
