The music arrangement in and of itself but serving God, if that is what one chooses, shouldn't be about receiving blessings.

This movie is very misandric but this song itself is my favorite scene in the entire movie. This and the "Father Can You Hear Me" in Tyler Perry's movie "diary of a mad black woman" is a very similar scene and as far as I can remember both movies are misandric but I like both of the songs. I'm going to choose the song from the color purple though because the video accompanied with the song kind of helps to portray what's going on and the videos for "Father Can You Hear Me" with the movie scene have been blocked anyways.
