    MRA Music Suggestions

    Hey!

Have been exchanging music suggestions with a member. And I thought, wouldn't it be cool if we could build a list of MRA-friendly songs (i.e. no feminist lyrics etc), or songs vaguely relevant to our cause. Here is my suggestion as a starter...

    Andy

PS. Jade Michael has some MRA music at Artistry against Misandry. Recommend you guys check it out -- am just listening to it now -- sounds good.

    Great thread Andy Man.

And the 'Stand by Me' video will hopefully draw in so much of the optimistic humanity we humans are purported to be capable of. Sweet music.

What an excellent and completely varied mix!

Still time to submit more songs. I'll produce a poll in a few days so that we can vote on the "MRA Top 10 for 2012"!

Pretty much anything by AC/DC: "TNT", "Dirty Deeds". Their love songs are also nice: "Hard as a Rock", "Whole Lotta Rosie" (despite the girly squealing), "Go Down", "Sink The Pink", and the inimitable "Let Me Put My Love Into You", which includes the outstanding words "let me cut yer cake with my knife".

There's a whole genre of 80's "Cock Rock". I'm fond of "The Cult" - listening to it cheers me up when I'm down. A few Van Halen tracks are worthwhile too, despite the spandex. "In and Out" is about money, and the importance of attending to your budget. "Sucker in a three-piece" is the definitive word on hypergamy and beta providers. They tackle the serious issue of sexually transmitted disease in their "Love is a Source of Infection".

When I do this, and I know I will, it will be comparable to the lame learning to walk, the blind being enabled to see and the suffocated breathing again. The sky isn't the limit; there are no limits.

He ain't heavy he's my brother

I've always loved Chucks song about parental alienation ........... great performance too

    Added after 6 minutes:

So just call on me brother, when you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you'd understand
We all need somebody to lean on

Lean on me, when you're not strong
    And I'll be your friend
    I'll help you carry on
    For it won't be long
    'Til I'm gonna need
    Somebody to lean on
