    Def Leppard

"Civilization can only revive when there shall come into being in a number of individuals a new tone of mind, independent of the prevalent one among the crowds, and in opposition to it- a tone of mind which will gradually win influence over the collective one, and in the end determine its character. Only an ethical movement can rescue us from barbarism, and the ethical comes into existence only in individuals."

    Re: Def Leppard

I got into Def Leppard when I was in High School, a mate of mine introduced me to their music, which at the time, was not as pop-based as what it is now.
I have On Through the Night, High'N Dry, Pyromania, Hysteria and Adrenalize, I stopped buying their music after they went back to Mutt Lange (Shania Twain's ex-husband) as a producer, the music just started to sound like pure commercial rubbish, with as little guitar as possible.

I found it pretty amazing that their drummer Rick Allen, came back from losing an arm, to rejoin the band, I took this as an inspiration when I was in hospital with burns, I listened to nothing but the 4 Def Leppard cassettes I had, on my Walkman.
