Jeremy Kyle domestic violence
Has anyone seen this?
She Beats Her Fiance! - YouTube
I got through 2 minutes 37 seconds of it before I had to turn it off.
edit: watched it all, Jeremy does handle it better than most though, to be fair.Last edited by Duran; 9th-November-2011 at 12:23 AM.

I didn't watch it all to the end either. But was she dragged off to the pokey by cops or beaten to pulp by the audience?
I did notice that the audience was very quiet while Kyle was challenging her. When in need of a drink to fill the soul

Re: Jeremy Kyle domestic violence
I've seen a few of his shows over the years and to be fair (to kyle) he doesn't pull his punches with the women as far as Iv'e seen, it's just that the majority of people who end up on there for bad deeds tend to be blokes, and lets face it, the show is primarily intended as daytime "emotional candy" for the ladies. The trouble is, as Percy pointed out, the lack of animosity towards her from the audience, yeah there was some, but if it was a bloke .....
What I find interesting is that in debates over domestic violence feminists, when faced with the fact that women commit in roughly equal numbers, will often make the argument that men's violence is worse due to the fact that they can cause more damage ....... well a four inch scar down the face, a broken nose and most worryingly the use of implements seems plenty enough damage to me.Those who are too smart to engage in politics are punished by being governed by those who are dumber. ~Plato

As I keep trying to make the point to feminists, a knife in the back doesn't hurt a man less than it hurts a woman.

Re: Jeremy Kyle domestic violence
I watched the whole thing and then watched one where the male was the abuser.
The host was harder on the male but not by a whole lot. And the victim in that case was a prgnant woman so I can understand a certain amount of extra anger.
So all in all I thought he was fair on the issue. Which is surprising to be honest.
Usually on these type of shows only the male is the offender and only women are victims.
I think the audience reaction is also a good indicator that in Britain at least the public is becoming more aware of DV against men.
So good work my friends, the MRM is getting the message across slowly but surely.Chevalier.
