So, my copy came in today and watched it. It's not technically out yet, but the director was really nice and sent me a link to purchase it.

In the beginning it seams to be just another feminist movie about us "evil pedophiles", but that's just to get your attention. The truthful approach of the movie was quite refreshing. No propaganda, no obscure data, no skewed representation, simply pedophilia as it really is and what it really is. I hate to give out spoilers, but it is well noted in the movie that the age of 18 as the legal age of maturity was based on a man's maturity not a woman's.

R: 18 is the legal age. I would question what age a man matures at - I would say he is also "ready to reproduce" at 12/13/14, but psychologically, due to the nature of our culture people of such ages are usually not mature enough to think about sex or children. Further, with all the paranoia we have a taboo on talking about under age sex, or even abuot sex to our kids (indeed try raising this key issue of AM and watch the reaction - men run for cover as they fear being acussed of something!)

I give my recommendation that all watch it who can.

I'd like to leave off with a thought provoking question: should age of consent/majority/maturity be different for each gender?

R: In Poland a girl can marry when she is 16, a man when he is 18. From my understanding men/boys produce viable sperm BEFORE women reach menstral age.

I have a question - did the film just cover the "biological" aspects of the issue, or did it go into the political side of it - ie that its basically an excuse to attack men, suspend their rights to see their kids. that the majority of accusations are false etc. These are the key issues. You can take any "illness" that affects less than 1% of society and blow it up into an epedemic (as feminists have done), and then we hear that 5-10% are preverts, and then before you know it we hear things like 50% of women will be raped at least once in their life".

But please give us a full movie review - if u have time!

I must ask "What sort of Christian are you" for the faith itself is vague and depends on men and women;s value of others.
What are you saying for I don't get any information from the video.

I did this review right before I went to bed (probably not a good idea). It was a movie that portrayed society and even it's double facedness; like the sexualization of the teenage fashion model but abhorring the people who find it attractive.

It gave a lot of biological and social reasons for the attraction to adolescents, which was mostly based on the ability to have children. The difference between pedophilia, hebephilia and ephebophilia was also given (different age ranges). Although it did touch briefly on world laws, it did not get into the political side; the movie stuck to scientific facts. The age of 18 was used because that's when a man becomes mature; however, a woman is mature around 16.

There was an interview with two confessed pedophile. The guy had self control and was attracted to older girls; the woman however was a "true pedophile" and did confess to a "small" act.

Acting pedophilia was not condoned by the experts, but they did feel that the orientation would eventually become socially excepted, like homosexuality has. The common consensus that acting on the orientation of pedophilia and hebephilia is morally wrong was held throughout the documentary.

The filmmaker didn't do accurate or new research, truth is, he barely did any. Also what he is mainly talking about is called ephebophilia look it up. Also there is an issue with some of his pictures and the legality of how he obtained them, he lied to a group of women about the use of the photos entirely. I believe this topic should not be JUST BOTH sides but include ALL sides, including what Richard talked about which is very important too. I wouldn't have such a big problem with the film if it had been done in a accurate, unbiased, well researched, and completely professional way. All of which this film and it's maker have failed at. Also, is he stating that he is a pedophile when he overgeneralizes that ALL men are pedophiles considering that the foundations and organizations he supports are AGAINST pedophilia? I don't think the filmmaker knows what he wants, if he was honest about it and told people he was or was not a pedophile then he would really be making a statment by making this film. All in all I DO NOT recommend this film. I am not opposing the topic, just how it was unprofessionally handled. Also they barely touch on female pedophiles, they exist too.
