Forbidden Planet (1956)
As you, no doubt, know already, the first two I mentioned have already been re-made this turn of the Century... However, it appears the Forbidden Planet is due a remake in 2013 and They Live is due sooner in 2011.

I did a review years back for WOTW (2005) and it wasn't very positive from a Father's perspective. I also wasn't overly impressed with the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still either.
