I happened to see a TV show on Discovery Health, about this family: http://www.duggarfamily.com/ Then I did a websearch and found their website. You know, if many more families were like these folk, I wouldn't be as depressed as I am much of the time over the sad state of the family today! I know...I thought the same when I saw how many kids! But somehow, they do it, and she is a stay at home mom who homeschools, too.Did you see the pics of their home on the website? WOW! And they all got together and built it themselves??? How??? Whatever their secret is, I want some of it! Except for a few minor issues and one major issue (their Christianity), their beliefs are almost identical to ours. Their girls even dress modestly in long skirts/dresses, as mine do.

i find it interesting how such timeless ideals can still thrive in a society that casts scorn upon such groups.. But, it shows that even today, such things are possible..

Thats a huge family.. something the globalist hate.
Thomas Jefferson once said "It takes time to persuade men to do even what is for their own good." Feminuts are stupid, throw some common sense at them. They won't know what hit them.

As for the Duggar family, I know many families like them. Maybe a couple less kids, but they're up in the double digits. They are all very happy, children well cared for and well-behaved. Their focus is on home and family above all else...as, IMO, it should be. "I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do." - Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird http://equalbutdifferent.blogspot.com/

Correction: If you want to do it and the woman consents throughout, you can.

If you read the quote, they started having children without limit out of a sense of guilt because of the miscarriage caused by the pill. They wouldn't have felt so guilty if they had just used condoms. Now they're just churning out babies, driven by their guilty consciences. How can this be happiness? They seem happy because they've resigned themselves to their baby-making fate. They just cannot stop. It would be too great a burden on their consciences.

The Duggars have a religious philosophy that is strongly centered around the "full quiver" philosophy. I'm not a Christian but I'm very familiar with it because there are many in the pro-life and pro-family mvmts that hold to this philosophy. The "full quiver" belief is rooted in the concept that the Creator holds the key of fertility: He chooses how many children to give a couple that i |
