Talk about doing every wrong. Have you ever had one of those weeks.

Well, I am still in it.

Just e-mailed my 5,000 word journal. Yeah!

Haven't slept for a couple of days and now need to get in the shower and off to work.

But I have upset a number of people in the last few days.

My girlfriend is pissed off because she is the manager of a busy retail and I decided to get something off her a couple of weeks ago. But I didn't want to commit to the price. I wanted a better deal. But in the meantime she gave me something from the storehouse and had cheated the paperwork because I am a good friend. I had to be at her job to give her the money on Saturday by 12 noon but I forgot because I had mothers and fathers picking up free tickets for the circus. Then on Sunday I pissed off one of the fathers because I decided to use his tickets to take the neighbours kids to the circus. He left it pretty late. My son says he was not happy having to tell his daughter the bad news. OMG, what is wrong with everyone.

I got lost on the way to the circus and couldn't get in but was told I could get in at 5pm. So I took the kids to the beach and we had fish and chips and lots of fun. But of course I pissed off a mother for not having her son home when she expected.

Good God. There is not one person who can see that this was silly.

Now my girlfriend's mother is upset with me.

Am I the only person in the world that wants to stop it so I can take get off? "Stop the world, I want to get off"

What happened to people. When did we expect everyone to set times for everything? What happened to cruising? Life is to short to make such minors things into major things.

I think NZ needs a catastrophe so people get their priorities right.

BTW, I should have worked on the weekend also. But the guy I work with is a single father of 4 kids. 3 teenagers.He is just awesome. I will phone him tonight and he will say, "Whatever".

That is how I like it. Do you best for that is all you can do.

Anyhow, just a ramble of a tired women. Better get going now.

About 10 years ago I took off my watch and found that my time is much more my own.

Lots of people are anal about time. Its not a big deal. They should learn to relax a little.

Julius Caesar ran a huge army and a Great Empire without a single clock more accurate than a sun dial. People arrived more or less around morning, mid day, or afternoon. Anything closer than that was uptight.

What does this mean? Are you saying she stole something from her employer to give to you?

Or are you saying that you meant to pay her for it so that she could pay back the money to her employer, but forgot?

Or are you saying that you added to the rampant inflation of the western world's money supply by creating a non-backed credit ? If it is this, it explains the dreadful exchange rate which has cut my modest pension by 20% in the past month.

Yeh, I am having a rough time too. No friggin' baked beans this week.

I'm really sorry you've been having a hard last few days...and boy can I relate. I have a tooth that's killing me so much I posted a thread trying to get advice from others about how to pull it out myself with a pair of pliers. With this pain I've been trying to concentrate on finishing three presentations for three different classes for next week (yeah speeches...just love 'em...not)...and I'm watching my mom's dogs for her while she's on vacation and one of them got hurt somehow (did something to his back) and I had to rush him to the vet. They think it's serious and they're keeping him overnight. My mom will be so thrilled to find this out. Last time she had me watch the dogs for her one of the other dogs ate a poisonous plant and I had to rush him to the vet, and the time before that all the fish in her 50 gallon fish tank died for some unknown reason. I'm beginning to think I'm cursed. Then I got a phone call this afternoon from my son, who apparently got caught smoking a bowl of weed out in the woods with some friends, and he got arrested for trespassing on private property, and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphenelia. Yeah. And I'm supposed to be a future drug counselor.

All of this in the last 24 hours.

I can relate, Julie. Wish I lived closer to you. I'd pick you up and take you out for awhile so we could relax and get away from it all for awhile!

Oh, my. I wish you were here too. The most hits I get on my site is for a post I wrote for having teeth pulled. There is a hospital that does it but you have to be there around 6.30 - 7am. They take so many and then shut the doors. Glad that I can help though.

I can help you too. You need to phone the women's refuge. They have free dental and doctors for women and children. If they say they don't, tell them you used to be a volunteer 10 years ago but you can't remember where the dentist was. Ask them if they can direct you to who knows.

Anyhow, I have had my years with teen males. It will pass.

The best advice I was given was from a Pacific islander woman. She said, "Think of it like a small mountain. At the beginning they start at the bottom and then move up to the top where it peaks and then they come back down again." And that is how it works each and every time they go through something.
