Ah....then no doubt you will feel like taking a long road trip one of these days. May I recommend the Sleeping Bear Dunes, which is located on the west coast of Michigan, right about the tip of the little finger on the hand.

I've quite probably been through there, fidelbogen. When my wife & I first met, she was in the little finger area. Apart from my connecting flight and staying at a friends in New York (State), my first visit to USA was in Traverse City.

lol Just don't forget to steer to the right of yellow line. Thomas Jefferson once said "It takes time to persuade men to do even what is for their own good." Feminuts are stupid, throw some common sense at them. They won't know what hit them. | ||||

LoL, I'm back in England now... I got pulled over for whizzing through a stop sign over there. I didn't whizz through it really, but I didn't stop quite in time. My wife hadn't got the car insured (I was just starting my first job), and hadn't changed the license details from the old vehicle to the new one, thus the vehicle got impounded.... LoL

Good news Karl. The only problem once you've passed you're full test is, cost of vehicle, tax, insurance, petrol, parking tickets etc. Apart from those little details you'll enjoy the freedom of the (cluttered and polluted) road. "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State. I never learned how to drive. My sister, grandmother and mother never did, either. For some reason (cultural? generational? I don't know), none of the females in our family learned how. The men always drove us where we had to go, or we walked/rode a bike.
