Some boys in a Oregon school decided to have Butt Slap day, all in good fun, but the principle decided to put an end to it. He called in a couple of the boys, called the police, and they where charge with sexual assault. They could serve up to 10 years in prison and have to register as sexual offenders for life.
“It’s basically the end of their lives,” she said. “Everywhere they go and everything they do, they will have to disclose this. And these kids who do these minor offenses have to follow the same sex-offender registration requirements as someone who brutally raped someone.”

This is truly difficult to believe. I mean, I know it happens, and frequently, and Oregon is a bleeding-heart-liberal leftist nirvana. But you have got to be kidding me.

What the hell is wrong with a slap on the ass? Seems to me that's a really good indication the boys think you're cute. Oh, but that's right. We're exactly the same as boys, so it isn't ok to be attracted. Wait a minute, that doesn't make sense.

On top of that, McMinnville is a small town set in the middle of farms. These are, for the most part, healthy, hard-working kids who spend a lot of time outdoors seeing the way life actually works.

Damn. It's as bad as the fact that I can't send my daughter to school with some Tylenol for her headaches. And what the hell? A fingernail clipper is a weapon?

I have read a news report regarding the two boys, Cory Mashburn and Ryan Cornelison, who slapped girls on the rear at school. I disagree with your decision to prosecute the boys as sex offenders, and believe it is a horrific miscarriage of justice to treat childish misdeeds as sex crimes. Their behavior was wrong, but it is a much greater wrong to treat them as criminals for some mistakes that children inevitably make. It is up to adults to discipline and guide youngsters into adulthood, not to subject them to vengeful punishments. To persecute boys and men as "sexual predators" over relatively minor misdeeds amounts to a witch hunt that is destroying people's lives. Please stop this madness which creates suspicion and hatred between the sexes. This is not the world I want my own child to grow up in.

I took my 3 year old son with me to collect my two young daughters (5 and 6) from school today..
