Establishing the subject

Karl has graciously provided me a forum to cover the topic of MGTOW - Men Going Their Own Way. Because we already have a website and a forum dedicated to this concept, I won't be posting much here, but will be glad to answer any questions anyone has.

OK, sounds a reasonable plan.

Perhaps I could drop an RSS readerbot into it to collect the occasional posts... (or teasers of at least)

Out of the gloom a voice spake unto me. 'Smile and be happy, Things could get worse."
So I smiled and was happy, and behold... Things did get worse.

Since most of our content comes in via RSS feeds right now, including from the blogs of several contributors here, it could turn into a forum named Mobius. We have a couple of skunkworks projects under the radar, and if those come to fruition there may be more new content worth importing. I'll let you know if I actually manage to get a few guys off their asses and shoveling gravel.

Re: Establishing the subject

Hey zenpriest-

just want to say hi. I have been pretty active on various sites (although it tends to go in waves) but I haven't seen you around in quite a while. Maybe I haven't been to the same places as you. I'm really glad to see you're still around.

Hi Denis, you've been doing a great job over on MND, along with fourthwire. The more guys there are out there spreading the word, the faster it will take hold.

Re: Establishing the subject: MGTOW is the "Way"

The MGTOW theme is perhaps the closest thing to a practical ideology that exists in the MRA “movement.”

And besides, anything zed puts to pen is worth reading twice. Even when he is merely speculating, there is a certainty about to occur.

The MGTOW motif is mostly based on logical self-preservation. Men recognizing the absolute hostility of the radical feminist cultural game board we inhabit and making necessary adaptations.

But, in addition to bullet-proof self-defense, there’s also a viciously sweet offensive flip side to what happens when MGTOW.

Simply put, a woman cannot comprehend, indeed is struck dumb, by any man who has entirely escaped her “crafts” –

we’re talking commonplace seductions, raunch titillations, shame-and-blame games, capture-the-ATM-in-shoes, kill him gradually by making babies, false accusations that he’s avoided by totally ignoring me, keeping his money to himself, enjoying his privacy where I can’t enter, out with his boys again, reading books I don’t understand, WTF is all this MRA crap on his PC?, all that stupid mechanical stuff he likes so much, most horribly just putting his attention on anything other-than-ME!

When men go their own way, via a cultivated mass indifference to the modern un-feminine, women are compelled to contemplate where they will be forced to go… alone, together.

All by their liberated selves.

Now, that is a truly poetic strategy!

Re: Establishing the subject

MGTOW = leaderless resistance.

They will go their own way, and some day have a big ol' meetup to share
what they have learned on their separate mountaintops.

It's the best of both worlds...

Next logical development of MGTOW would be Male Separatism.

For which I am most righteously game.....

Re: Establishing the subject

Sounds like a good philosophy! Indeed, it took me approx 4 decades to finally be trapped by a fish who played the dirty games of the modern haddock.. For the first time ever, I started to realise that her needs, for mainly attention, seemed to be in my face all the time..

Did not take long to skip the hake and send her packing, skillfully done to avoid the usual expense etc!

Aye, they love it when you treat em with "due respect.."

Re: Establishing the subject

Hi Zenpriest...my you certainly get around.

I am going to post more places now....for a while I got disheartened.

More of us old farts who can remember what the world was like before they put seat belts in cars are going to have to guide these young Turks along. That used to come with the territory when a man became an old fart and I have many cherished memories of some of the great old farts who beat me into a sword.

Tsoyoshi Chitose

Masami Tsuroka

Kenematsu Inoue

My world class theology and philosophy professors

My astounding buddism teachers

My grandfather, my uncles, the veterans of WW2 who were the fathers of the great friends in my neighbourhood. I count myself a very lucky man.

Each time I arrived in a position to teach what I had learned so as to benefit others, some self appointed feminist vigilante would come to impose her rules and her agenda and I would quit rather than endorse it.

Now I have found a place where that will not happen.
