I dont understand limeybonics all that good, but from what I can gather, Percy, you attempted to end your own life.
sometimes I get down and depressed and think about it, but here is what brings me back from that point.
There are a lot of stupid assholes that hate me. So if I kill myself, that means they never have to see or hear about me, and I dont have anymore chances of ruining some god damn asshole bitch-made motherfuckers day. and when I think of that, I step back and say to myself "all is not lost, I can fuck up some scrotes campaign"

That attitude has kept me alive too Aug9th, more than a few times. That and a fear of Hell. I'm not really religious, but just the mere possibility of spending eternity in a world worse than this one is enough to give me pause.

I am not good at that and quite simply I don´t know what to say...but I really, really, really hope you are doing better know and that the black dog is gone hopefully....

Thank God you are back, I do not know your personal circumstances but we have chatted here a number of times, and as you know have regarded you as the wise one of the board for some time. You and Your life is too valuable and you have as much right to both as anyone nothing should be allowed to affect that!

I wasn't 100% serious. I do usually prefer to get along with people and would rather make friends than enemies. But it is true that at times when I've thought about suicide, one of the ways I talked myself out of it has been my disgust at the thought of bringing happiness to people who have been assholes to me. At least that coupled with the burden it would place on people who care about me.

I'm so glad you're still with us Percy, the place wouldn't be the same without you around.

Maybe you're not as knackered as you thought, as the displayed resilience will hopefully help shape a new and positive chapter in your life.

Yep, folks, I was nearly gone.

A Gonna, that is.

I have been away in hospital for ten days for a ‘rest’ from life after having tried to take an eternal rest.

My old Steed had been retired in the paddock for a while and was ready for a last quest. The Black Dog was at my heel. I had packed the Steed’s saddle bags with a fine foreign bevvie of distinction for the journey, laced with some extra ingredients to speed us on our way, and set off over the bridge into the dark forest.

It is a difficult issue to admit but matters had reached such a weight and my internal resources so low that a small straw broke the camel’s back. I was well on the way out when ‘intervention’ in the form of police and ambulance snatched me back.

For that I have some of you to blame and shame.

You know who you are.

I would like to express my gratitude to TFB and Dad-Savage for being damned nuisances and trying every underhanded method they could to outwit me at the last minute. It is hard to find enough thanks to Kim and Tera for their love and support and kindness. I doubt I would have pulled through without it and the comfort of thier words sustained me as I surfaced. Fine women you are. And to Luiza my apologies for scaring the hell out of you when you twigged at the very last minute. And Cj who hot-footed a couple of hundred miles to visit me in hospital. You are a mate, mate.

Three men a day suicide in Oz, and as my hospital shrink said, I chose a particularly lethal way and was very lucky that they were able to revive and reverse me. I was deep in the forest with the dog almost quieted when I was knocked off my sturdy old companion. Apparently it was touch and go for a day or two. Others choose a similarly lethal but slightly more messy way, of course. One of my ‘fellows’ in the ward had a shotgun knocked from his hands. Fortunately I didn't have one.

Men are often too stoic for their own good and old Knights more so.

To all members here I say, take care and listen for the signs. Some here are not waving but drowning. I picked up on one of us some six months ago who is now doing really well after ‘intervention’ from a similar gang of spoilers who insist on lashings of TLC and a box around the ears.

I am most grateful for this ‘Family’ I have around me here.
