Counselling service available to Rffj members

Rffj are pleased to now be able to offer free counselling sessions to subscribing members.

In the last 12 months we have been contacted many times by suicidal parents, sadly we know of several who have gone on to take their own life, mainly due to contact denial and prolonged family court cases where no progress is being made.

This was highlighted recently by our tribute to loving father Paul Pegram >Click here<

If you having suicidal thoughts, or need someone to talk things through with, a benefit of becoming an Rffj member is that we offer a free confidential professional telephone counselling service, for non-members we recommend you contact the Samaritans.org

Assisting the Rffj team is experienced Psychotherapist and Counsellor Adrian, he is accredited with the Bacp and has a diploma in counselling, he uses the Bacp ethical framework to counselling, (More info on Bacp site)

Members seeking a referral initially can have a brief discussion with our counsellor to find out how we can help, and decide the best way forward.

Adrian writes about the service;

“My offer to help members comes from personal experiences of family law, dealing with similar issues as those who find their way to Rffj”

“I understand the pain and loss of separation and how important it is to be able manage these very powerful emotions”

“Counselling is not about receiving advice; if you need practical help and advice on family law matters you are better of contacting the Rffj helpline headed by Ray Barry” (more info on advice service)

“People coming through the counselling experience will feel better about themselves, have greater self-esteem, increased resilience to difficult circumstances, understand their own feelings better and appreciate the feelings of those around them. They will feel more secure and be able to identify goals. They will be empowered with 'tools' to help them achieve these goals.”

“I will be able to offer two time slots for telephone counselling, these are Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 6 and 8pm, if enough people are in need of this kind of support I would also like to set up a therapy group”

Nothing wrong with helping folks out, making victims of the shit happier and all that..

I guess that is all the fathers groups can do of any useful use when noone wants to do the stuff that might get them arrested or thought badly of..

The real fnf were have been short of men of action for a long time.. This is an area they have always been more able to do stuff regards as opposed to any fantasies they had that they could change family law using the failed methods of many years forever..

From my understanding, FnF actually came around due to feminism itself. The founder was all fine with feminism until he realised it was screwing fathers our of time with their children due to lopsided divorce laws. He set up FnF in response to feminism, not to support feminism.

Just to clarify this is Real Fathers For Justice not Families need fathers. I know the latter is content to deal with the Status quo although one local member to me has in fact started a number of e-petitions so the peasents could be revolting here too!

If the founder of FNF didnt like one aspect of feminism and set up fnf to tackle that one aspect then it doesnt mean to say he was not happy with the other aspects of feminism, which probably sowed the seeds for his predicament anyway..

Folks who want equality with women are largely following the feminist script..

Or perhaps following it much more than the feminists who started that BS script..

Real f4j are often referred to as "real FNF" by folks who doubt that they have a activism force anymore..

Fnf get government money as a reward and incentive to kiss the femianus and suck the toes of lawyers and cafcass scumbags..

e petions are as much use as a blind guide dog, unless folks which to see how few folks support them..
