Blaming men for feminism is rather feminist. It amazes me how many men on here blame men for so many things. Feminism does exist in Asia. How can Westerners be faulted for viewing Asian culture from a Western perspective? That's our perspective! It's not as if Asians don't view Western culture from an Asian perspective. And scoring higher on tests doesn't make a certain group of people smarter. It makes them better test takers.

Yes, there are good women and the OP has merit in saying that it is now easier to 'test' them. But of far greater importance for us, as man and as MRAs is to ask if we are Good men. We need to apply 'tests' to ourselves. So many men who claim to be MRAs nevertheless adopt and accept the 'carrots' of feminism whilst fighting against the stick. A pretty good test is to ask, am I hateful or dismissive of the same things that feminists hate and dismiss? Religion, for instance. The amount...

No, it is not a fictitious disease. There are people with such an affliction. The problem lies in ascribing it to so many who do not have it. It is no more a fiction than many other mental dis-eases (that is what the word is about) who manage to cope without pharmaceuticals, with better self-management and control, and successfully USE to accomplish their life goals. But there is a strong tendency to assume disease in people, by people themselves and by others on the periphery of their...

That is a very different issue from pretending that all the blame should be put on the politician, instead of the person who elected the politician. There are obviously power blocks outside of the political arena: always have been and always will be. However, if those power blocks are unwanted, the voters can elect people who will remove them. It's been done around the world in various countries (not always happily) and could be done any time in any democracy. Here, you state the same...

Most politicians enter politics because they have strong, even passionate, beliefs in one or two specific areas. This might be on how to run the economy, how the environment needs caring for, what is needed in education, etc. For the vast majority of the rest of the political sphere, they might have some ideas and opinion but really need (because there just isn't time to study everything) to be told/guided how to vote on issues. Politicians therefore like simple, quick guidelines on a great...

Egad ! I am so damned handsome that I have to hide behind a beard lest I am knocked over in the rush of screaming wenches. She was only 'looked' at. For 20 odd years when I was not permitted a beard (Regulations, doncha know) I had to surround myself with armed colleagues. A fine looking bunch too. I am reminded of a tale of a very beautifully formed young female soldier who was On Parade for a General's Inspection. The General walked past the ranks of fit chaps, stopping and talking to...

About time too. Feminists have often complained that using the word 'men' in titles excludes women, yet they seem happy to have 'women' in titles at the exclusion of men, such as VAWA and the like. Still, I'm glad to see some of the less hateful groups realising the potential of inviting men into their inner-circles.

Welcome. A person is free to believe whatever they want but we must recognise that there are some strange and erroneous beliefs going around. While one is free to believe them it is unwise nonetheless. No matter how much one believes that the moon is made of cheese, the reality is that it isn't.

Welcome. It's always good to see a woman realising how badly feminists behave and how much they rely on bullying people into their beliefs, rather than presenting information and letting people make up their own mind. I'm not sure we are all sane here but we certainly have some insights! :-)

You chose a strange thread to post such a request, rather than picking one of the many discussions on feminism or anti-feminism. However, Wikipedia should be able to accept this definition from the organisation that hosted the world's first anti-feminist meeting a couple of years ago: Translated from German Antifeminismus. http://antimisandry.com/feminist-misandry/definition-anti-feminism-35304.html...

I don't put most of the blame on the pharmaceutical companies. I put a lot of it on those people - parents, doctors, school personnel - who have handed it out to children as a simple, non-evasive form of lobotomy. This cocaine-like drug should never be given to anyone to adjust behaviour (like cocaine, it has some benefit in narcolepsy sufferers). Left: Ritalin, Right: Cocaine

Hi Bob, I had edit function disabled as it doesn't allow for only your own articles to be edited. It allows either everyone's - or none. So for the moment, it's none (though, I may well change this policy soon). I've spaced the article and added a small image to it, as well as stripped the tiny font size (I'd prefer a uniform look to the articles).

I've had a read and think it sits very well on the front page. I've also posted it on my facebook. If you have facebook, don't forget to click the 'connect' button so all your work goes through facebook too

Ahh - I didn't realise you wanted me to post it for you... I thought you were just sending me a copy. If you want it posted up, go to the site's front page - click 'Go' on the "create article" menu (top right) and then plug it to your hearts' content!

Hi Rohara, I'm not sure why my YT account was temporarily suspended by Google, but I had a lot of BBC documentary stuff, music for my Frets On Fire demos, and some other games footage, so it must have been for copyright reasons or something, but I had no warning, no reason given, I'm still waiting on a reply.

I set up another account where I will only put my own work up, I'm now 6oodfella: YouTube - 6oodfella's Channel

Thanks or posting the Tasmanian piece on MND, Ro. I see there have been no comments at all (at least I can't see any). I cannot add comment as I would like as I have been 'expunged' from MND.

The hearing is planned for 12 April and there will be a large 'protest' on the steps of the court.

Of course there are only two reasonably well known (internationally )Tasmanian MRAs here and you might find some reluctance by Paul Elam to give any space to either of us.

Yeah, I agreed with Thugtician on the gender roles in relationships debate. Thugtician has a lot of good views and also a good speaking voice. The YouTube user "AyanSolar" still has quite a few of Thugtician's videos posted, thankfully.

A while back, Thugtician and Barbarosssa squared off in a pretty heated debate, and both of their egos flared. I think more sided with Barb than Thug. Furthermore, Thugtician seemed (at least this is how I remember it) to have shifted more to focus on race than gender issues, which apparently reduced the number of his MRA viewers. It wasn't until I read this message from you that I checked his account and saw that it was closed. I have no idea why he closed it; he never said anything.

However, I do have roughly 20 of his videos downloaded and saved to my computer, which I view every now and then.
