I have to correct someone on a regular basis that while they; in practice, they don't restrict the bond with a father, when they try to argue in theory that a single parent is adequately raising a child, they are completely wrong. It is neglectful to, out of choice, deprive a child of a father, as both genders of parents give psychological needs they can't get elsewhere.
