    Maybe their parents weren't thinking!

Scorn and mockery towards men in need is one of the reasons feminism is dying as we speak!.

I was a bit wierded out by that video, but I am no stranger to those types of ceremonies. That type of stuff is considered "cute" and "harmless", and in Hispanic cultures we have all sorts of festivities and what-not. Personally, I don't attend them because they bore the crap out of me.

    Quite!

    They are all pagan ceremonies.
    As it is marriage.
All cultures find fit to celebrate the time when a person begins sexual life.
Marriage is a constraint to one sexual partner.
There is an excellent reason for it and that is to prevent sexually transmitted diseases (STD).
Unfortunately, modern life and the pill has caused people to forget, hence the present epidemic of STDs. Mostly in people who are into promiscuity. This has its roots in the breakdown of marriage which is meant to keep lethal diseases such as HIV out of peoples life, but in the confusion of so many creeds and fascists ideologies all this safety principles get buried in the usual muck.

I agree. That is why I refuse to take part in any wedding, or celebrate any other holiday and festivity. The marriage/festival in this video is likened to a sexual ritual. I don't celebrate Easter, Christmas, Valentines Day, and Halloween. Valentines Day and Halloween are pagan in origin, and Christmas and Easter were holidays (HOLY DAYS) that went from celebrating and commemorating the birth and ressurection of Jesus Christ, to becoming secularized celebrations that emphasize on greed and materialism. The rabbit commonly associated with the secularized Easter celebration is the pagan symbol for sexuality, or sexual promiscuity, hence the quote "fucking like rabbits", or even the symbol of Playboy. I even find Mothers Day and Fathers Day insulting, because children should always honor, love, and respect their parents every day of their lives no matter what.

I try to promote abstinence and celibacy, even though I am a sinner, but I am a virgin, and I find fornication disgusting and vile. I respect the sanctity of marriage as a moral, emotional, and spiritual union between men and women, under the eyes of God, and it was never meant to be a secular institution, i.e, the government. It has been mocked so thoroughly that marriage is simply a co-habitation between two individuals, namely men and women, and there is no sort of cohesion between both parties. Even divorce is forbidden in most religions, and divorce in itself has become big business. I am not a Holy person, but I can't help but gravitate towards the spirit of God.
