Police apologise after false arrest of fathers rights protesters

Police have admitted they were wrong to arrest protesters and have paid compensation.

The story dates back to March 2008 when we reported that 3 fathers rights protesters were arrested in Wolverhampton >Link to original news<

Ray Barry explains, "3 of us were arrested in 2008 during a peaceful, orderly protest against draconian Police actions against fathers."

"Following an internal Police investigation and a claim for damages, the Police have finally paid up and admitted they were in the wrong."

"To arrest us during a peaceful protest simply because fathers rights protesters have a reputation for climbing on buildings was, as the Police report put it, “too great a leap of faith.”"

"It is a small victory, but an important one."

That they were arrested for a peaceful protest only reinforces the claim that the police powers are misused and draconian when dealing with fathers.

The most offensive thing you can do to a feminist is treat her with FULL equality.

Husband : "How about the ones like mine?"
Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

Yep and the more they come down on the fathers the worse they will look in the public eyes which is a good thing, more and more fathers/people will see just how corupt the onikers are and the swelling of anti goverment setament will grow untill it reachs a boiling point

    That's bittersweet.

They still managed to take a jab at fathers rights protesters:

because fathers rights protesters have a reputation for climbing on buildings
So, there is an admittance that the police were wrong but not without saying that fathers rights protesters were wrong first.

As far as I am concerned, climbing on building doesn't hold a candle to the brutality that the police dish out.

But of course. How could you expect the guvmunt agencies to look bad for ... their bad behaviours? Surely you don't expect them to be accountable?

A good way to get the guvmunt to pay for Father's Rights groups.

    How much was the 'compensation'?

No idea but it's not the first time the police have had to pay out for falsely arresting him - he seems to be onto a good thing there

Not sure how many payment's he's had exactly but this certainly isn't the first.

It's a positive and let's look at it as just that..
