Does money make men stupid?
I always thought John Cleese was the stupidest man on earth considering how gold-diggers are profiting from him in divorce settlements. Today, I found out how wrong I was, because the singer/writer Phil Collins has beaten him on the size of the divorce payouts.
The singer Phil Collins has paid a grand total of $84 million dollars in divorce settlements. The last wife was given by the judges $46 million dollars as a divorce settlement News: Phil Collins Divorce Settlement is $46 million… OUCH. | MixMyMusic.net Phil Collins Divorce Settlement a Record Breaker - Nasty Breakups and Divorces, Phil Collins : People.com , the second wife was given by the judges $ 25 million dollars Phil Collins pays £25 million in divorce settlement - Telegraph
and $13 millions to the first wife.
This is extremely annoying because it does not at all help the Anti-misandry cause. It is understandable when women call men "idiots" because they are quite prepare to become utter suckers of women when promising the use of their pussy.
The average man has no access to such large payouts, but because of it, men lose just about everything in the family court, often reduce to be paupers for the rest of their lives just because they dared to have an old style family.
I could not research anymore because just this one like Mr Collins is enough to sicken me. But I am sure in divorce robbery land, otherwise known as "Hollywood", there are many others fools like him.
I despair when I can not find ideas on how to teach those morons the repercutions their actions has on every other men.

Re: Does money make men stupid?
There are some rich men who can take a hint after their first marriage fails. A good example is George Clooney.
Greed is for amateurs.
Knowledge without wisdom is a load of books on the back of an ass.
Scorn and mockery towards men in need is one of the reasons feminism is dying as we speak!.

Re: Does money make men stupid?
Yeah, money makes men stupid. But I think to understand fully what's going on, you need to look at programming.
My youngest son started working a couple of years ago and boy oh boy did he start expecting from me. But I put him straight immediately.
Having a girlfriend also makes men stupid as another mothers showed me.
Did you know fathers used to kick the sons out the house as soon as they made money because as one cop said, "There's no room for two bulls in this house".
I think men and women see money as power. I think that's why we have these divorce settlements in the first place.Ignorance is the Oppressor, Vigilance the Liberator.

Re: Does money make men stupid?
No, money doesn't make men stupid. Well, to clarify, it's not the cause of some men being stupid, can it make men take more risks? Yes, most certainly but risk taking =/= stupidity if the person taking those risks decides the rewards > the risks etc.
Pointing out rich celebrity men getting done over in divorces and saying "does money cause this?" is absurd when you look at the amount of working class/lower middle class men who also get done over in divorces.
So no, money doesn't make men stupid, it does allow them to take more risks in life however.

Money can bring out the worst in a human. People have killed for it and died for it.

When I do this, and I know I will, it will be comparable to the lame learning to walk, the blind being enabled to see and the suffocated breathing again. The sky isn't the limit; there are no limits.

[QUOthTE=Popadibs;277954]Come on, dudette, your statement is true but we could say the same thing about a lot of things.(E.g. Women can bring out the worst in a human. People have killed for them and died for them.)See what I did there?[/QUOTE] I was talking about humans in general, as in both sides can be fools. If I wasn't a Christian, I'd be a misanthrope by now.

Re: Does money make men stupid?
The bible talks more about kindness and compassion towards thy neighbor than trust. Helping your fellow neighbor and representing what God stands for. I have matured and grown a lot as a person, which I owe all to God. I give people a chance but still having discernment. You live and learn.

so men still display their financial plumage when courting wimyn - after she has plucked him she courts him ! the Family Courts that is
I have figured out wimyn's geometry ! the length and breadth is true but the depth is dissembled merely an equisite copy of her dupes mores who then figures she is high class worthy of his total trust as she reflects his mimicked image back in his face
a bit like those hunters squaking duck call s

Re: Does money make men stupid?
It depends on the individual . I know some men who get money and blow it ,down the pub or at the bookies .
Other men , when they get money , use it wisely , and invest for possible future hardship .
I believe that men should be very carefull with money ,remember society will always take care of women ,but men are left on their own .

Re: Does money make men stupid?
I do not believe money makes men stupid. What it does is change their wisdom on what is money for. The case of Phil Collins is just as a good example as any that at some point in their lives men decides to extricate themselves from the chains of wealth, and look for the true meaning of life somewhere else.
I would say of Mr Collins that his money does not serve him well in giving him happiness, so he finds family and children are what makes his life full. As money does not, in any measure, compensate for his want of love from his own children, the obvious answer is to forego a large part of his wealth in order to have what makes his life full. Therefore, he is a wise man.
The contrary appears to happen to women. Once they have fullfilled the need to have children and the need of financial security, they no longer need the love of a man. For women, the role of men has been completed and eventually become surplus in her life.
This selfishness is natural to women because, in the end, they are the ones who bring life into the world of men, but her priorities are no longer him.

Re: Does money make men stupid?
I don't think stupid is an accurate term. I would say naive or ignorant toward divorce laws. I am of the mindset that when making a serious life change commitment, you must be aware of various outcomes in case something does not work out as planned. If you have a substantial or even a slightly hefty savings account, then you have them sign a prenup. If she doesn't sign, then don't live with her because some states believe after a certain amount of years you are actually married and then have to go through a formal divorce and under no circumstance should you marry without that piece of paper. In this day and age with gold diggers of all types, you need insurance that your life will be intact financially. It's a form of self preservation. Why these guys didn't do that is something we will never know but hopefully they have learned from their mistakes.
