Cheating wife caught out after leaving family dog outside bar where she met her lover... just as her husband walked past

A cheating wife was caught by her husband after he spotted their faithful Yorkshire terrier tied up outside a bar.
The 40-year-old man was out with the couple's two young children when he spotted the dog tethered to a lamp post. The pet happily started barking when he spotted his master.
Earlier the unnamed man's wife, 35, had told him she was taking the dog for a walk to meet friends for a coffee. She said she would be back in a couple of hours.
But as the man walked past the pub in Caltanissetta, Sicily, the excited canine inadvertently uncovered her lie.
The man stopped to look in the bar for his wife - but was stunned to see her in a passionate clinch with the owner.
He stormed inside and had a furious argument with his wife which ended in a brawl with her lover.

Police were eventually called to calm the situation down. The owner was taken to hospital where he was treated for cuts and bruises before being discharged.
A police spokesman said: 'Officers were called to the scene and the situation was explained to them by those involved.

'The wife was caught out by the family's pet Yorkshire - dog's certainly are a man's best friend it would seem.
'We have taken no action against the man but I understand he has contacted lawyers and the couple are divorcing.'

I don't get why he had a fist-fight and assaulted her lover. From my understanding he's a stranger to him, right?

He's basically shifting blame onto a random guy for what his wife did to him. Суре if I caught my best friend with my wife, I'd be angry at him too... But he's basically fallen for some bad programming if his first taught is to attack her lover, instead of being angry at her.

True. The article however is quite open about how the fist-fight started. The man could have attacked her lover perhaps after he said something in defence of his lover that fell wrong. The opposite is well possible too, that her lover attacked defending her honor as the men was argueing furiously with his wive. The only fact though the article presents, is that they fought each other and her lover has been in hospital.

Unless it was a self-defence scenario, I fully dissaprove the used violence.
The article does however show that when one engages in infidelity, it can bring along rather serious consequences as this could have ended much nastier. Not to mention those young children as this is ending up in a divorce, an ugly one I suspect. Oh.. and off course it's also tangible proof that cheating, like some people out there unfortunately do not believe, is not something only men do.
