ANDERSON, SC — A request for temporary custody was denied Tuesday for the father of a girl whose mother was killed in October in Anderson, the father said.

James Ayers, who is the father of Eric Olson’s 7-year-old daughter, said he learned Tuesday that a judge denied his request for temporary custody. He said the reason given is he isn’t married. Mr. Ayers, who lives in Washington, said he thinks the reasoning is “just absurd.” He also added that he and his fiancée planned to get married before Ms. Olson was killed.

“We were going to get married until this tragedy happened,” he said.
His daughter remained in the custody of the state of South Carolina Tuesday night, Mr. Ayers said. The denial isn’t going to stop Mr. Ayers.

“We’re still going to fight (for her),” he said.

Mr. Ayers, along with several other family members, have expressed interest in obtaining custody of Ms. Olson’s children, officials have said. She had a baby boy in addition to the girl.

Yeah but this article is kinda thin. It doesn't explain a lot about the circumstances.

I also notice that the media has stopped reporting the name of the evil agent of Satan in black robes of hell. There must be too many men who are armed and angry as hell. So much for open govenment.
