Angry McCartney To Give Mills a '$235 Million Divorce Package'

Quote:
McCartney To Give Mills a '$235 Million Divorce Package'

Sir Paul McCartney will give his estranged wife Heather Mills a $235 million
divorce package to safeguard his health, according to a British newspaper.

The News of the World reports the former Beatle was urged to agree the deal by his daughters Stella and Mary because they are concerned the bitter divorce battle is affecting his well being.

The siblings reportedly told their father, "If this goes on, it could kill you. Being happy is more important than money."

The newspaper claims McCartney will publicly give his estranged wife a mere $19.5 million, most of which she'll donate to charity.

But she'll actually secure an enormous secret package including $5.9 million a year as a divorce settlement, $15.7 million to buy homes in America and Europe, $5.9 million for English accommodation and more than $3.9 million a year for staff and general expenses for the next 15 years.

One of McCartney's aides tells the newspaper, "It's a done deal and Paul is relieved."
Link.

Guys, don't officially marry! Women will ruin you financially with the current absurd, divorce laws in some countries such as the UK.

Why in god's sake are women entitled to such a gigantic amount of money with divorce?

This is muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch, much, much, more then a person will ever need to finance their whole life.
Also she is probably capable of working and supporting herself.

No ex-wife deserves this gigantic amount of money in a divorce!

This is the primary reason why divorce rates are high now. Because they can unrightfully get a large percentage of their ex-husband's possessions, wealth.

Realistically speaking she should not get more money then what's needed to support the one child they had made. Nothing else and NO alimony.

This is pure thievery. Women simply get married with wealthier men, then after a certain time they file for divorce and STEAL a unreasonably large percentage their ex-husbands hard earned possessions, wealth.

This is a gigantic robbery. A complete rip off thanks to stupid divorce laws that screw men over big time.

~ A man needs a woman like a lion needs a stove. ~

~ Women deserve only equal opportunity, not equal outcomes. ~

~ Men are not collectively "guilty" of anything. ~

~ Never needing to be pregnant is a blessing. ~

~ Feminist ideology “men have to respect women, but women have no reason to respect men” ~

~ Everybody makes choices, and nobody should be entitled to special treatment because of those choices.
Equal results based on unequal treatment amounts to no kind of equality at all. ~

Kinda hope that Kevin Federline gets a huge slice of that skank Britney's money. I doubt it, but I hope he does.

Oh, and I agree. Don't marry. I don't think I ever will.

[sarc]Only a 'mere' $19.5 million?
Selfish penny-pinching old Scrooge![/sarc]

Why did they need to add in 'mere', its not as if he's throwing a few coins at her and telling her to piss off! She could easily live off that money for the rest of her life!

I agree, mostly.

I do feel that, in the event that a spouse was responsible for part of the wealth - assuming it was acquired during their relationship together of course - that said spouse is entitled to part. It's only fair.

I also believe that alimony is not altogether a bad thing. If the spouse receiving the alimony has custody of the child(ren), the alimony can assist with things like the cost of living that the other spouse would have been helping with. Obviously children add expense that is not as easy for one person to be mostly responsible for.

However, once the children are out on their own, the alimony should cease, just like child support.

And what exactly did SHE do to enhance HIS wealth? Nothing! She spent and spent and donated HIS money.

Fair? I think not. She would be hard pressed to buy a leg to stand on with that argument....

BTW: If it looks like a femikook, it more than likely is....

Re: McCartney To Give Mills a '$235 Million Divorce Package'

Paul's first marriage to Linda seems to have been one of the more successful celebrity relationships I've heard about.

Heather Mills seems to be a classic gold-digger. Is this the kind of woman feminists want to celebrate?

Its all ok as long as the father (head of the family) agrees with it and is not coerced by the state parasites..

That's it though, he had all his money long before she began scraping at it.

What is the point in Child Support then? One, or the other, has to go - else it's just a clear case of absolute greed.

Hmm, she did.... nothing, not a bean.

Re: McCartney To Give Mills a '$235 Million Divorce Package'

It is not his fault Drex. He knows that if he doesn't give her essentially what she wants NOW, she will take him to court and REALLY get what she wants... HALF of everything....at a minimum. He knows this. He is between a rock and a hard place.
