This is quite sickening and distressing to view. I'm in no shock that the mother has not received any form of punishment for her neglect & abuse of a defenseless baby, but my lack of surprise does not indicate any level of agreement - i'm sickened.

This is the type of thing where people say that 'the poor, poor mother was so confused (probably also had post-natal depression too *yawn*) and did not know what to do. More support is needed for mothers....' Anyone who condemns the mother (especially a man) is told that they don't know what mothers go through, so they should shut up. Its the typical 'you're a man, you don't understand!' Frankly I would like to see the mother punished for this. Leaving a new-born to die like that is sick.  | ||||
