It's a good thing feminists don't believe in Freud anymore, because he would probably say that the reason the teacher is so unduly upset is that she has suppressed certain forbidden desires. Ironically, in her eager to hide and deny her true feelings, she's actually advertising them to the whole world.

Heh. Some 17 year old kid just left a comment saying he knew exactly what "sexy" meant at age 10. I say that even if that's true, he's the exception to the rule. And I stand by my previous statements.

I don't know, it seems like people today are "educated" about sex for their entire lives. Furthermore, female children today show almost no distinction in their dress and hairstyles from adult women. So, it seems unreasonable to believe that they aren't aware. Additionally, by 3 or 4 they've matured enough to have some sexual feelings. So, even if they should be in "latency" at age 10, they ought to be capable, with enough "provoking" to experience something and it seems to me that our society is providing plenty of that. Of course, with both parents working and single parents, a lot of kids aren't getting enough adult attention.
