Etiquette For Ladies

I don’t know how many times I’ve heard women lament that they aren’t being treated with the respect that they deserve. Of course, the proper response is, “If you want to be treated like a lady, you need to start acting like one.” But they just don’t seem to get it.
I've also seen any number of rules lists telling men how they are supposed to treat women, but I haven't seen anyone return the favor. So, in the interest of helping my fellow women start earning the respect they think they’re due, here are a few handy rules to follow…
  • Do not laugh at others’ mistakes. This is perhaps one of the cruelest things one can do. When you mess up, the last thing you want is for someone not only to bring it to your attention, but to ridicule you on top of that.
  • Do not manipulate men by playing on their emotions. No one wants to see your crocodile tears. And no man wants to be doing things for you on the off-chance you might be nice to him. This shows an extreme lack of respect for your fellow human beings, and if you don’t give respect, you really can’t expect to receive any.
  • Dress modestly. You can be beautiful and attract attention without dressing like a five dollar whore. This doesn’t mean you need to wear a habit or a burka. It simply means you don’t have to display everything you have. Show some respect for yourself, and others will show respect for you.
  • Be a little selective with your lovers. Don’t jump into bed with every guy who turns you on. Being “liberated” doesn’t mean you have the right to treat men like living vibrators. A little impulse control goes a long way. Just think, if you could learn to control yourself in this area, maybe you could get that spending under control.
  • If you like a guy, ask him out. And pay for the date. Pretty much all of us have jobs these days, ladies. And the wage gap is a well-known myth. Why should he bear all the financial burden of your fun together?
  • While we’re on the subject of dating, here are some subjects to AVOID discussing while you’re enjoying each others’ company:
Ex-boyfriends
Therapy or 12-step programs
What sh*t men are
  • Watch your language. If you want to be treated like a lady, you cannot talk like a sailor. Guys act like that with each other, because that’s how guys are. You cannot be “one of the guys” and expect to be treated like a lady at the same time.
These are rules that mostly apply to single women. Stay tuned for some pointers on how to treat your man once you get married. These will only apply if you want your marriage to be a happy one. If you don’t care about that, then just ignore it. It’s up to you, grrls.

Feminuts are stupid, throw some common sense at them. They won't know what hit them.

Re: Etiquette For Ladies

Kelly Mac as per usual I loved your post. You are without a doubt or any reservation a hero of mine. I love how you stick up for what you beleive is right but at the same time you realise that the men on this forum are angry at feminism not at women and you treat us with respect. I apreciate how you can state your opinion while considering our feelings and not being hurtful to those of us on this forum who suffer from feminism. You and ladies like you are the reason I still beleive in chivalry even if I am forced to observe it in modified form. Thanks again

I can't see anywhere in KM's post anything relating to being a doormat or subservient, etc. Please elaborate.

Re: Etiquette For Ladies

i can dress, talk about, act, and do what ever i want.

BUT

So can he. he just hasnt learnt how to do it yet.

women aren't the problem. the problem is that men have not freed themselves from a ridiculously thin and rigid masculine role.

why should i restrict my freedoms just to accomodate his incompetence?
