What say we temporarily reserve our adulterated judgements for TRMS, after she's posted more extensively beyond just this thread before we realize a finite judgement? Don't get me wrong, as everyone knows, I'm happy to ritually shred any fem, I'd just prefer more justification in doing so.
We can thank Tera for the predisposition some of us may have to distrust women who come on here espousing sympathies for feminism and claiming to be interested in sharing and learning followed by endless prattling.

I was never in boy scouts. I was however in girl scouts and scouts honor was apart of the program.

I believe you can fight out anything you need to know at this site.
    http://girlscouts.org/program/
When I was in the boy scouts. We had a girl join. There was no controversy. Someone asked, "Why join the Boy Scouts, when there's the Girl Scouts?"

The answer was that the Girl Scouts were into different things than the Boy Scouts. Like selling cookies, that kind of shit. And she wasn't interested in that. I admire that. lol

Well I did say you'd need thick knickers. Maybe I should have said fire-proof.

Mrs Smith, your posts so far have been models of reasonableness and you show courage and patience. I look forward to your insights and observations.

Allow me to say with a bit more enthusiasm and sincerity.

There are a few here who are deeply suspicious of women and with good reason. I am suspicious as a rule myself. There are wounds a'plenty here, some long standing, long dripping, and some quite fresh. Nevertheless, we bandage as we can and I do expect men to be reasonable and make sound judgements based on firm evidence.

All of the women here have shown themselves to have courage, and enough to counter the occasional misplaced hostility. We have only a few women, unfortunately. The more sound, reasonable and open-minded women who come and stay here, adding their particular viewpoints and pointing their unique weapons in the right direction, the better, as far as I am concerned.

Many do not agree with me. But hey, who comes to a superb site like this one simply to have a conversation with themselves or a parrot?

Show us the good side of women.

Show us women's courage and tenacity.

Show us that the few of us who are able to differentiate between women and feminists, between good, sound women and bad ones, that we are on the right track and are not wasting our tolerance.

Show us disagreement if necessary where we lose perspective.

We sure as all hell will show you !

Cum dilectione hominum et odio vitiorum
Love the Sinner but not the Sin.
    (St. Augustine)

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. “
    (and within ourselves)
    (Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)

A Feminist is a human being who has lost her way and turned vicious.

offer kindness but keep your sword drawn.

My observation over the last eight months since I joined:

    Women do come here.

Most express a desire to listen to and learn new perspectives.

But certain male members attack (insult) them from their very first post on.

Eventually the women break...fire something back in anger...

And then they get banned for losing it, or they leave.

And those members who did the antagonizing...they say something to the effect of: "I knew it all along- I told ya she's a bitch!"

    End of story.
ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. The vast majority of women receive a warm welcome. The women who don't are the minority who hint at a connection with feminism. Although I will confess that you were treated harshly, you, yourself, started with an ill-chosen title for your introductory thread. It's worth noting that the main culprit in attacking you, upon your joining, has now been banned from this site, for his strong views. Please don't exaggerate things.

I already said I didn't expect much considering I didn't get a warm welcome at the other site. I am "far too closely related to misogynistic MRA's" as well. So I guess I can't win for losing.
Welcome. But one point I'd like to make: try visiting a feminism-forum, and announce that you're a member of a semi-men's rights forum, and see how friendly your introduction is there. This isn't me attacking you, but making a point as to how our attitudes towards those with opposing opinions, differ from the corresponding attitudes in the case of feminists.

Your mentioning of being a member of a "semi-feminist" forum just made people suspicious. You seem decent, open-minded, and willing to learn, however, so I will say once more: welcome.

Good point, DB...I have to give credit where credit is due...the nastiest commentator on my intro thread is no longer here, he was banned a couple of months later for making a rather dubious reference to the OJ Simpson case...implying that OJ's "method" of insuring fatherly custodianship of his kids was a good means to an end.

I'm glad the admins saw fit to oust him.
