Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

"Civilization can only revive when there shall come into being in a number of individuals a new tone of mind, independent of the prevalent one among the crowds, and in opposition to it- a tone of mind which will gradually win influence over the collective one, and in the end determine its character. Only an ethical movement can rescue us from barbarism, and the ethical comes into existence only in individuals."

Re: Pendulum Effect Intro
The Pendulum Effect pilot episode is now available! We managed somehow to actually meet the New Year deadline we set for ourselves! Thank you to all those involved in this new project.
From Feminism to Equalism; an interview with Katie Kish
Katie Kish is a longtime campus activist for science and secularism and hosts Renegade Radio, a nationally syndicated program dedicated to exploring controversial issues in religion, culture and society from an atheist’s point of view. Katie is the assistant director and field organizer for the Centre for Inquiry Ontario. She is completing her studies at York University in Toronto in Environmental Studies and Music.
Katie’s views on gender and religion make her a unique member of various important movements and has granted her insights which she has shared on multiple blogs include Eco-chick, Liberal Debutante, The Edger and EqualismActivism.
On the inaugural episode of The Pendulum Effect Katie shares her experiences transitioning from traditional feminism to a more balanced equalism. She explains how she went from being the Coordinator of the Women’s Collective at the University of Victoria Radio Station and a regular blogger on women’s rights to blogging on everything from religion and the environment to health and local politics, with an eye to providing a new and oftentimes opposing point of view. Katie also explains what she hopes to accomplish with her new blog EqualismActivism.com and why she feels it’s so important to rock the boat on issues of gender and diversity.
Hmmmmmm.
Since when did 'having views' grant insights? Is it even possible?
Not a philosophy question and the answer is 'No'.
Sounds like we have a Feminist who is as confused as ever, as certain as ever, and trying to water-ski behind several boats at once.Last edited by Percy; 11th-January-2009 at 12:12 PM.

Re: Pendulum Effect Intro
semi-feminism again? I bet the semi-lesbians will love it.
(Yes I tried to be funny...)Disclaimer:The men's and fathers' movement needs to make sure it never sees females as the enemy, but only misandry--whether from females or from males. If not, we'll become like the bigoted feminists that this movement was formed to oppose.Glenn Sacks

Re: Pendulum Effect Intro
Nice one Shazza.born again White Pointer
I think that the average woman in the street feminist (little 'f') can be helped to see the light. She may come up out of the pit to the level of the woman of yesterday. But if anything that feminism has illuminated it is that yesterday's woman was a conniving fraudster. Men worked their arses off for them and were rewarded by these women becoming feminists.
They were rarely Good women. One's who did their damnest to be honest and loyal and take life's hard knocks WITH her husband and not against him. "You and me against the world" was for most women "Me and the world against you".
I doubt that Ms Kish has become 'nice'. She is still following in the Marxist line practicing her AgitProp.
Maybe I am wrong, but I await her proof.
She is going to have to work hard, frankly, to overcome her Women's Collective' history. She wasn't the friggin' tea lady there.
