Yes, many of us don't need to experience the hate campaigns when it's happening around us on an all too regular basis just for us to acknowledge it's existence. However, you strike me as a rare chap - too many of us are happy to keep out heads buried until the day it affects us, but you're not doing that. It's a rarity that someone acknowledges it, let alone researches and posts on a pertinent board without having been personally affected.

So, if you don't mind indulging me, how come you took an interest?

Well I was happy to get involved till I was lambasted and called a lazy northern git by a member called Richard as I'm unable to get to the south coast so being made unwelcome I've decided to contine elsewhere as this sort of name calling will only lead to people giving up and not bothering it's hard enough to be male and to make a stand as it is without this crap so very sorry but I'll probably not continue

Richard was only having jest I assure you! Stick around, us northerners can do much!

Hi Les. Glad to have another voice around. Hope you're not too put off by certain other posters...sometimes people rant without really realizing how they come off to others. I truly do hope you stay around, the more advocates for men's rights-the better!

I've been lurking round different men's rights websites, many seem to be long on talk short on action. Time now I feel it's right for me to get involved somehow, I take a serious interest in politics local national and international and scour newspapers both print and on-line. I also have an interest in blowing the politically correct apart it has become a joke in this once great country of ours.

Yes, we're hoping to move AM towards a more activist-based website and your input would be most welcomed.

You sound like a no-nonsense chap, and I'm sure if you stick around it'll be beneficial to all.

I would add that even though the concerns of men is important here, we really do delve into every conceivable subject you could think of. So it never gets boring.
