Away, but.....
To all my good friends here, I am grateful for the messages asking after me.
I am away for a while, 'going my own way' as they say. On foot. This is after a quite unexpected act by another MRA which created a lot of distrust and disharmony and personal pain.
I will recover.
In the meantime I am not only continuing to monitor all the good and useful posts here but working on a project by myself.
Should it bear some succulent fruit, I will be back to let you know where and how to pick it and enjoy.
Keep up the good work. When in need of a drink to fill the soul

Re: Away, but.....
I have certainly been wondering where my favourite old cyber sparring partner had been quiet for so long!
What happened old chum?
I have always thought there are some strange chaps in the movement, the sort of folks one would not only cross the road to avoid, but that appear to be capable of giving a grown hetrosexual male a severe case of the willies wherever one comes across them..
I think any MRA who has not had disappointing encounters trying to work with other MRA's, has probably not been a MRA for long, or has very low expectations of them!I am going outside, I may be some time..

Good to hear mate and keep us informed. Or indeed, if help is needed, do let me/others know what is required.

Take care, you wise old knight. You are a man who has aged well, so take care of yourself and I look forward to learning from you again when you are ready.

Re: Away, but.....
Aye. Percy sometimes infuriates me, but I love that man because his heart is true to what he believes and he follows it proudly. I'd happily hoist my right hand to the fellow, fuck it, I'd take him home and let him shag my sister..
I'd still like to know who pissed him off, because I am funny that way.. I have a problem with the destructive elements in "the cause" that take advantage, have no respect for differences of opinion, or the vast range of quite valid approaches that can be taken.. In many ways "the male problem" can make it very hard work to get any co-operation between men..
Strange how it afflicts the MRM massively, yet is notably absent in other famous male areas of solid unity and mutual support (work, war, sport, etc..)..
I have always thought the very fact that men are dealing with matters that WOMEN MIGHT NOT APPROVE OF THE DEALING WITH! is what scares "good" and smart men away from the movement.. "Don't want the missus knowing I am doing this".. And leaves only the celibates, fruits, whiney victims and nutcases to try and form some fucking resistance to the misandric shit..
And no surprises, they don't seem to get along with each other just as badly as they can't get along with mainstream society! But, they tend to treat mainstream society with MORE respect!!
Paradoxical or what?
Percy is a good and kind man who neither pulls his punches..
Or, holds a grudge after the event..
And that is something that is too rare by far and we need more of..
Hope the project bears good fruit percy!I am going outside, I may be some time..

Indeed, being able to not only give, but sustain a good few punishing punches, and move on positively without being overladen with malice is a good survival mechanism in the manosphere. And more so, good gentlemanly behaviour.

Re: Away, but.....
Felix's homage to Percy is a sound acknowledgement from brothers who sometimes agree to disagree.
Percy has been around since before AM even existed and has gained considerable reputation under various names.
He is (not was) an alert and generous man, both in spirit and material goods.
Let's not turn this thread into a prayer for the dead. Percy's philosophy is always worth thinking about.
