I guess I was supposed to do this as I registered. Maybe I'm as inept as all the man-as-idiot TV ads seem to say that I am.

I first saw the word "misandry" in print while I was writing a college paper.

I was trying to choose a topic, when while watching one of those true crime story TV shows, a story was featured about a pretty ex-stripper from Texas who stabbed her husband 200+ times, paying particular attention to mutilating his genitals.
She essentially got away with murder by claiming marital rape.

The show bothered me so much that I couldn't stop thinking about it. I figured that I had my topic.
I began searching the 'net for anything to do with marital rape charges, false rape charges and man hating in general.
I've got to admit that I was shocked by the severity of attitude held by so many members of the "fair" gender.
One reason I was so shocked was that I have, by all accounts, a nice marriage to one who is a credit to womanhood and a complement to manhood.
How could so many women be allowing these butchers to speak for them!?

The answer is that they're not fully aware (and neither are most men) of what the likes of Dworkin, French, McKinnon and Solanus have written.

When the professor asked me to read a portion of my paper to the class, I chose to read what I had written concerning radical feminism's charge that "all sex is rape".
A young woman in the class exclaimed that that was crazy; she liked sex with men and didn't want it effectively criminalized!
I couldn't resist telling her that she'd better not let these miserable women speak for her any longer, or the man/woman relationship will continue to degrade into a minefield of mistrust and eventual hatred.

Anyway, I look forward to perusing these pages and throwing in my two cents now and then.

an excellent introductory post, towmotor. It can be quite shocking - can't it, when you first begin to realise the sheer volume of hatred the 'fairer' sex has? Not only is it shocking, it is also demoralizing... to suddenly realise, "My God, these people... they hate... yet... I always was taught... they are practically perfect in every way!"

Your school offers you nothing but socialist (feminist subset) politically correct indoctrination it seems. This isn't education!!! Always vehemently question/oppose this.
