Hello, I am a male of course. I work in healthcare.
I am interested in this site as I see many female
nurses from day to day who try their best to remove the aspect of privacy from male patients.
Female patients get all the privacy they want and
they expect it. Not so for male patients. Most of them see male patients as third class citizens. I want to share my oponions and concerns and try to
educate male in regards to their health. For a
start I ask that all men visit this site to get an
idea as to where I am coming from.

Greetings Porscheboy. Thanks for joining. Your story is saddening that female nurses are unable to treat male patients with the same decency and similar right to privacy. Maybe you could collect evidence, like do a Poll at the hospital and write a a news article about it or novel, sue them. Just giving you some ideas. Anyway enjoy your stay.

I have many years experience in healthcare. My interests are patient privacy but mainly to the extent that pertains to mens health. Men are
not afforded the privacy that female patients are afforded. To give you a few examples: I was a patient on 6 occasions and each time my privacy was not respected. The female nurses were unprofessional and unethical
on three of those occasions. If I were a female patient and the nurses were male they would probably lose their jobs. I enlisted in the US army
during the vietnam war. During my induction physical non-medical female
civilian clerks were allowed to stand there and view naked males getting their medical exams. This happened to me, however, female inductees
were never exposed to this abuse. This happened to hundreds of thousands of men entering the military. Don't know if it happens now but
it happened in the 60's , 70's and 80's. There are websites of this abuse
that discusses these events. Nevertheless, I am glad to have found this
site and look forward to meaningful discussions and perhaps just perhaps
I can educate and be educated.

A similar topic is how female sports figures demand privacy while female sports casters demand to enter male locker rooms for equal coverage.


The same goes for female gyms demanding privacy and exclude males while women demand the right to join males gyms.

It's only fair when women want it.

From personal experience I know nurses here have the tendancy to just walk into the room. When guys get checked for military it is not unusal that there is a female nurse. During this checking it is usual that the male doctor controls your testicles. I am glad that I have never been to military....

I'm curious about something that you just said. How are nurses trying to remove aspects of privacy from their male patients? And why is this happening? For what purpose?
