I have been a leader of the pro-family movement since 1972, when I started the national volunteer organization now called Eagle Forum. In a ten-year battle, I led the pro-family movement to victory over the principal legislative goal of the radical feminists, called the Equal Rights Amendment. An articulate and successful opponent of the radical feminist movement, I appear in debate on college campuses more frequently than any other conservative. I was named one of the 100 most important women of the 20th century by the Ladies' Home Journal. For a more detailed biography, please see: http://www.eagleforum.org/misc/bio.html NOTE: This membership is not Phyllis Schlafly herself in person, but the administration of antimisandry.com has acquired permission to use her work in context and with credit to her. By making an account for her, her work will be automatically credited (in addition to a link). If any member finds articles by Phyllis Schlafly they would like to see in this forum please add them to THIS thread, where they can be correctly credited under her name. Almost caught me out. "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State. Your reputation precedes you. Welcome. (And yes, I realize that I'm complimenting an account, and not a person... Just realized that after reading the red lettering at the bottom of your opening post. Welcome, anyway! LOL)

Yes he did. I welcomed the lady and then you posted the red bit. Ya bugger ! So I deleted it. I have tried all my life to leave the place better than I found it. But there are 6 billion other buggers out there messing it up. I am outnumbered. But... YOU don't just make a difference, you make THE difference. ![]()

Welcome Phyllis SchlaflyThe fame of our forum spreads...
feminism is a disease the Doc is working on a cure. Symptoms include compulsive liar, constant aggression, allergic to logic, often affects women who are fat with short hair and big earings, but can be normal looking. Reason tablets three taken daily. If the sufferer displays shaming tactics double the dose. Remarkably the illness disappears in disaster zones.

She certainly is an important women and her words would be welcomed by anyone who is challenging feminism. It is amazing how much she has achieved in her life. This sounds like the N E W group of conservative women. .................. There are definitely strong boundary lines between those who are political and those who are are part of the social scene and researchers fall somewhere in between. What ever ideology runs politically will affect who does research and what the accepted outcome will be. And there is real friction between the past and the present. Yet somehow these two different ways need to make one road for the future. Because we are on one road and it is centralist. Well, most of us. ![]() .................. Feminist Prime Minister Helen Clark is well respected (lesbian) for her connection with the people and her way of producing change. Even though we hear all about the agendas behind her political work she was able to through women's work; even the suffragettes and women conservatives balance the two where change formed. Even though she is disliked, she WILL also go down in History books as one of the greatest leaders. The feminists backed a women who could diversify. ............... Phyllis Schlafly will be a part of our history and deservingly so. She will be remembered for what she achieved as a woman and what she fought for and against. I like her ideas of targeting the young at schools and that their minds are impressionable. That is how I think. ............... I hope more women follow her political work to get the right balance.
