What it sounded like is that regardless of the reason behind it, if a woman leaves her husband, she forgoes custody of their children. So, for example, say a woman wishes a divorce because her husband has been having an affair...or suppose he is physically abusive to her or the kids. If she decides to leave the marriage, she must leave the children in his care because that is Malaysian law and policy? How is this better than the discrimination that men face here in the US? I suppose it could be said it's better for men (in Malaysia), and better for women in the US, but both family policies create discrimination, IMO.

The man has obligations, but no rights. In Malaysia, it's different, the woman has no rights, but also no obligations. Nobody can force her to pay child-support to her ex-husband. In Japan it is quite similar, usually the man is leaving...no child-support but no visitation rights. This helps a lot to find a new husband and father, as the former husband/father is gone and cannot interfere into the new family's daily affairs. I would say, where are obligations, there should be rights too. - and where are no rights, there should be no obligations. The feminist ideology is easy: Laws supporting rights for women, and laws forcing obligations for men. Very one-sided and a risk for every man to look for a relationship with a woman. This is how it works legally in the Western region, but for sure not everywhere in this world. This chopping and changing countries to find the 'right' laws is a nonsensical idea to me. It appeals to some, I know, but I have travelled ! Unfairly and destructively discriminating against women and mothers is no better than unfairly and destructively discriminating against men and fathers. Laws and cultures are elastic; Ethics, Morals and Principles are not. BOTH parents are morally and by Principle totally accountable and responsible for their children, jointly and severally. Expecting to find a woman that suits simply on the basis of where she lives is nonsensical to me too. It is her maturity and morals and principles, her ethics and capacity to love that matter. Along with her intelligence, understanding, staying power, resiliance, persistence and a host of other qualities. An MRA mantra ought to be - Good Women are Hard to Find.
I have tried all my life to leave the place better than I found it. But there are 6 billion other buggers out there messing it up. I am outnumbered. But... YOU don't just make a difference, you make THE difference. ![]()

It is important to study the laws of a country, before you decide to marry, laws are different everywhere, and you as man might be totally ripped off, if you or your assets are in the wrong place in this world. As a fact, in today's feminist world, as man you are not protected. Even with your best intentions and without any wrongdoing by your side, you might be subject to give up a huge part of your assets and to pay alimony to your cheating wife for the rest of your life. It makes therefore sense not to look for a relationship with a woman living in a country, which considers you as man to be a never-empty ATM. There has always been and may always be a double-standard for the sexes: women's lives are valued more highly than men's. I don't object to this, I object to the hypocrisy of denying it. Feminism has simply taken Victorian sexism and dressed it up in Marxist lingo. With modern communications technology I doubt that any woman in the world can remain ignorant of these ideas now, especially with the UN poking around the Third World.

The fact you did so as a "non-MRA" is more telling of the anti-male prevalence that so infests society.
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State. TERA: I want a woman. Most of the things in Western society are not women, they are asexual beings. I want someone who is feminine. Interestingly, women, whatever feminsim tells them, still want someone masculine. Phenomenal success with women is easy. Just act like the epitome of everything feminists hate and girls will throw themselvesat you. The problem them becomes one of quality. I put time into myself to become a man (still working on it), so I want someone who is a woman. At the moment I have plenty of options, women to pick and choose from (maybe a few on the go at once ), but that is only because I am no mangina and a girl, no matter how asexual she may be, never really wants a mangina unless she can get nothing else.To stray off topic, somebody very wise (IMO) once said that: Feminism is against sexuality. What they fear is that someone, somewhere, is acting like a man or a woman. They would prefer us to all be asexual. It takes a hell of a woman to throw off years of indoctrination and put value in her feminity, but if I ever found such a woman maybe I would commit to her. I sure as hell wouldn't legalise anything under the current laws though.
