Women Drivers!

First she is glorified by the media after the other drivers crash out and she places. Then she hits a pitman with her race car in the pit stop zone. Then she was a centerfold for Playboy. Now she is arguing with another female driver in this video, along with other arguments in the past with male drivers. Racing is taking on the hallmarks of a matriarchal culture now. RIP

OTTAWA, July 7 /CNW Telbec/ - Canada will host the Women's Worlds 2011, the first Women's Worlds forum to be held in the country, thanks to support from the Government of Canada.

It has really come to something when Harriet Harman taking control of the country seems like a good idea. Guido really does believe we have a psychologically flawed prime minister lacking a strong grasp of reality. Gordon is an embarrassing disaster, the government is paralysed, ministers basically just want him to go, backbench MPs want him to go, Labour Party activists want him to go, Labour voters think he is a crap PM. He has led his party to its lowest point in history. He is the most despised PM since polling began. Gordon Brown is just no good. Harriet can't be worse. Can | ... [Read More]

| Domestic violence victims won't have to testify under new law |
|

John Coté, Chronicle Staff Writer
Wednesday, July 2, 2008
(07-01) 18:47 PDT SACRAMENTO - -- Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger today signed into law a bill that will prevent judges from jailing domestic violence victims who refuse to testify against their abuser, giving those victims a protection similar to that already afforded to victims of sexual assault.
The bill, authored by state Sen. Leland Yee, D-San Francisco, had pitted women's and victim's rights groups against many state prosecutors, who argued the threat of incarceration is useful to successfully prosecute domestic violence cases often complicated by the abuser's financial or personal ties to the victim.
"Some have argued that incarceration of domestic violence victims is an important tool in compelling victims to testify," Schwarzenegger said in a signing statement accompanying SB 1356. "However, I believe that the victims in these cases have suffered enough."
The decision to testify "should be made by the individuals most impacted by these crimes," who often experience "psychological trauma and fear of retribution from the abuser or the abuser's family members" similar to sexual assault victims, the governor wrote.
Yee's bill, which will take effect on Jan. 1, carves out an exception similar to the one sexual assault victims have had since 1991.
Currently, judges can order domestic violence... [Read More]

New Jersey Court Raises Evidence Standard for Domestic Violence Restraining Orders
June 30, 2008 at 6:35 am · Filed under 1
We've discussed on many occasions the massive violations of men's and fathers' rights that occur under the guise of fighting domestic violence. Nowhere is this more true than with restraining orders--all a woman has to do is tell a court that her husband "threatened her" or she is "in fear of him" and the court orders a restraining order booting the man out of his own home and prohibiting him from contacting his own kids.
A new New Jersey court decision is a step forward in curbing these abuses.

| DYKE MARCH - Anti Male Hate Riot Season Opens |
|

SF DYKE MARCH - Sat 6/28/08:
No Permit, No Fees, Male Citizens Banned from Street.
The 2008 DYKE MARCH is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2008 - Apparently following the Tradition of Previous Marches - With NO PERMIT / NO PAYMENT OF FEES & NO MEN ALLOWED IN THE PUBLIC STREET.
I intend to PROTEST this Tax Subsidized Anti Male Hate Riot - and as I have done for the past several years Again Formally Notify the SFPD of my intent.
I Again Register my Strongest Possible Protest at the treatment of Men by the City during the Dyke March - in that they allow Anti-Male Hatemongers to take over the Public Streets in an act of Hate, with Police Assistance!
I Again Object to allowing Dykes on Bikes to use their motorcycles to assault the population in violation of the vehicle code!
I Again Object to the use of Taxpayer Funds and Services to support an act of Hate by those who take over the streets without bothering to apply for a Permit or Pay any Fees - and who use the Police to create Gridlock - WITHOUT EVEN WARNING THE CITIZENS OF THE ROUTE OF THE MARCH OR HOW TO AVOID THE HATE RIOT!
I Again Demand an investigation in to the Death of... [Read More]

| Movember is over in NZ |

From Stuff.co.nz:

Mo men are bristling because the Australian organisers of "Movember" have given their Kiwi counterparts the chop after a row about control of funds raised.
Prostate Cancer Foundation president Barry Young announced yesterday the agency that could no longer take part in the annual November fundraiser because organisers had turfed it out last month.
Movember, which was first held in 2006, gave the ailing foundation a new life, raising $800,000 in its first year and $2 million last year, when 26,000 Kiwi men spent a month cultivating a moustache.
The Australia-based Movember Group, which has copyright of the event, had sought control of how the New Zealand-raised funds were spent, Mr Young said.
"We were told that unless we spent the money in a time frame approved by them, and on projects approved by them, then we would not be the beneficiary of any further Movember campaigns."
The foundation was disappointed, but the situation was not tolerable when donations had been made in good faith to the New Zealand branch. "It is a huge blow."

Please, please watch this.
You don't have to watch the whole thing but to help you follow and know when to stop I will say this. I do not want for anyone to miss the important bit.
The USA Government bench was asked a question.
A very simple question.
No thought in the answer. Just straight up ideology.
But the question was a very fair question "Would you do what is in the best interest of children?" Except, as you will see, the question was a question that any group would ask. "If we could prove that our way is saving children, would you give money."
"No, no, no, no, no." came back the answer.
So they board was asked why don't they look to the best of children and they answered, ................
Now think for a minute. This is the Government of the USA.
........... "That was a trick question"

| 'Cabinet government, as we knew it, is dead,' |

07 Jun, 2008 - 10:53 AM - by julie

The Hill Times, June 2nd, 2008
'Cabinet government, as we knew it, is dead,' says author Savoie
Britain and Canada going through exactly the same adjustments with 'court government,' says Donald Savoie in highly-anticipated new book about government.
By Simon Doyle
Canada is not so unfortunate as to be the only Parliamentary system with an unprecedented centralization of power in the executive, amounting to a "court" and "king" style of government. When Donald Savoie, author of a new book on "court government," looked to the U.K., he found a mirror image of the Canadian experience.
His new book, Court Government and the Collapse of Accountability in Canada and the United Kingdom, compares Canada and the U.K., and finds that court government is not unique to Canada or specific prime ministers. It's been institutionalized as Parliamentary governments instinctively, and gradually, adopt practices that help them hold onto power.
In court government, the "king," or the prime minister, does not rely on the Cabinet and the public service in the way that he or she once did to formulate policy. Instead, decisions are made in consultation with small group "courtiers." The power resides not in Cabinet, but in the king's court, made up of a few key Cabinet ministers, advisers, friends,...
