This probably should have been done by a PM, but, where did everyones Rep displays go?
There have been arguments about bad rep's and those that have been sending and recieving them.
If you are one of them, be quiet while the adults here talk.
Bring back the rep system.

I rather liked seeing how people felt about my posts. I try hard, even if sometimes people take issue with me quite strongly. The rep system gave everyone who cared to visit the site an idea of who's opinions were generally shared and who's were just rants that few appreciated. It also showed which members are the mainstayers who posted and supported this Board regularly.

But emotional blackmail prevails even here. The ranting whiners got their way. Perhaps Marx (may the Lord Harry bless his sword and shield) will find his way again and say "It's MY frigin' board, MY friggin' idea to have rep, MY friggin' rules", and let the whiners drift off.

Believe it or not, the rep system is still FULLY intact. If you check out one another's profiles you'll see the rep points are 100% intact and functional.
However, the ONLY difference is now they are not on the individual posts of the member. I removed them from the post template because they take time to produce on the screen and slow down the page generation for each thread. Nonetheless, clicking the users avatar (or name) will take you to their profile page and thus allow you to see the full reputation system.

One thing I had noticed though, is since removing the rep from the post template, no one has been using it. I assume this is because, as seems to be the case with MikeT, people are thinking it has disappeared. It HASN'T!!!!

I will look at putting it back in the post template though, as it seems easier for people to know it exists.

Oh goodie! Complaints when they are there... and now complaints that they appear gone...

Not a big issue really, I just thought it was the way I was viewing the computer screen.
