Now that's just what I'm talking about!
The traditional male weapons in the sex war are non-cooperation and flight. The traditional female weapon is celebration of paternity and male responsibility. If women now choose to define this as patriarchal oppression, they are throwing away their best trick. Feminism, in dismantling patriarchy, is simply reviving the underlying greater natural freedom of men. - Geoff Dench 1998 (edited) | ||||

Now that's just what I'm talking about! Maybe it's my Third Wold connection.

Hi Yan Yan, I'm sorry about the board being a little slow sometimes, I suffer it too - even the almighty 'Site Amin" rank does not discriminate me from timeouts and other generic board errors. However, as one recommendation - click the "always log me in" (if using firefox, use the 'remember me' option). This will help, and i've only one single time been caught out by not being logged in, and that was because i'd logged out to check the look of the board from a guest's POV. Anyway, what I'm getting at is that I can walk away mid-post (I have on this post as it is, to handle baby for a while & put her to bed with a fresh bottle) and upon return, i'm still logged in. The configuration is set not to log a person out unless it exceeds 24hrs. I'm thinking, with that in mind, it's likely to be a disconnection from your ISP to the forum. The forum won't dynamically change to reflect it, until you load a new page. Clicking 'submit' on a post does just that, loads a fresh page. It's ok though, just let me know - as you do - and i'll just keep editing the posts. One idea that may help, is when you make a post, give it just a word or two. click submit straight away. your post is then recorded. Click on EDIT and continue with the rest of your post. This will at least put your post where it belongs, instead of three or four posts down. Another one, is pre-write it in notepad (goto start menu, run - notepad.exe) and then when you click 'reply' or 'new post' - just copy & paste from notepad to the text entry form of the forum.
