I have been wearing specs for years and love the experience - with plastic lens there is no risk of shattering and they protect the eyes to boot

Wow Outdoors I thought I was having it rough recently. But you win with a stick in the eye. I can't even imagine how bad that would hurt!

Karl how did your eye appt go? Did you get any further along with the contacts?

My brother had a hard time with contacts but eventually learned to like them. He says they are easier to take care of than his glasses. And he never loses his contact lenses.

i was wearing glasses-didn't help,as i was turning the stick came in from the side under the arm and behind the lense of my glasses-i scraped the front of my eye membrane right off-doctor and eye doc both said it was the worst scrape they ever seen and i was lucky the stick did not puncture through.
They also told me i had every right to scream in pain.

The eye doc was gonna try a contact,"bandaid", lense but said my eyeball was to swollen for such a thing

not feeling to bad today-can finally open my eye but it is still constantly dripping brown shit-apparently i will gain my sight back,as of right now everything is a white fog-the swelling has gone down and i no longer need painkillers.

man-that was very painfull experience

just gotta watch out for infection now and wait it out

it f'n hurt-dropped me to my knees-i am lucky i didn't drop on the powersaw and make things even worse
