Yes, believe that he was. This control-freaking government does not tolerate dissentients or those who embarrass it. It often arranges for those who disagree with it to have convenient 'accidents'. Others it tries to besmirch or blackwash. Take the case of the Brazilian man who jumped over a low barrier on the London underground and was shot dead by trigger-happy police gunmen.
