Bush To Block Stem Cell Research - Yet Again!

.

Bush To Block Stem Cell Research - Yet Again! The US House of Representatives has voted to ease restrictions on federal funds for stem-cell research, defying a veto threat by President George W Bush.

There is little chance Congress will be able to muster the two-thirds majority needed to override a presidential veto.

Mr Bush, who last year vetoed a similar draft bill, has vowed to do so again.

Ah yes, the man who drops bombs on people, supports the death penalty, and who denies seriously ill and dying people access to drugs that would help to alleviate their horrible suffering purports to care about clusters of cells!

Huh? It doesn't fit.

What he really cares about, of course, is the votes of the fundamentally religious.

All stemcell research should be legal. It can potentially cure many illnesses, diseases, and it's key to advancing medical technology.
