He began his pro career with a loss, took a year off, and came back to win non stop till he lost a decision to roy jones. after jones left the middleweight division; hopkins fought in semi-obscurity till the middleweight unification in which he fought trinidad and won suprisingly............since then he has been an inspiration to young men everywhere.
