An AC/DC concert had just come on the TV screen.

Millions of people in the audience. Great video footage.

I turned to my sons and said, "They started at my ice skating rink. Just a group of mates wanting a gig, a chance to play to an audience."

OK, I was too young to see it myself but I will always remember the pride of the locals.

So I sat watching the video footage saying to my boys, "They were just musos asking places for a gig. "Can I get a gig, can I get a gig, can I get a gig".

Because that is how it is. You just try and get a gig in any place and you use one gig reference for another gig.

But AC/DC shows what dreams are made of.

These guys are great role models.

I love AC/DC, did you know Back In Black is the second highest selling album of all time? My dad used to play soccer with Malcolm Young. I've only seen them in concert twice (No Bull and Stiff Upper Lip) but they blew me away. I wish Bon Scott was still alive.

Yeah Julie I'm from Sydney. Australia is very much gynocentric, it upsets me. Were it not for my buisiness I would move to America, free speech and no gun control are things I believe are essential.

Not really. You guys have stronger right-wing and religous ties, they make up a signifigant portion of your voters and that has impeded the feminization progress; further more your written constitution garantuees certain freedoms (the right to bear arms and freedom of speech) over here there is none of that, we're far more liberal, gynocentric and there is less freedom. I could be arrested for sedition, it is a legitimate charge in this country; that is a primary example of why America is better. Certainly not perfect, but superior to Australia in my eyes.

I saw an old video of the orginal AC/DC doing "Let there be Rock" and was blown away! They sure beat the hell out of the girlie posturing show of Divas we have now.

Man, my Dad's friends with the original AC/DC drummer, before they were famous. Said they were some of the coolest Aussie's ever.
