VICTORIA, British Columbia, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- A Canadian bachelor on Vancouver Island didn't appreciate a naked woman he'd never met waking him up and sliding into his bed, police said.
The unidentified man called police to report the mystery visit around 3:20 a.m. Saturday, the QMI Agency reported Tuesday.
The Victoria Police blog said the man reported "a woman came into his bedroom, promptly disrobed, slid into the bed next to him and fell asleep," the blog said.
When officers arrived, they found the woman still asleep and "quite intoxicated," the report said.
Looking for identification in a purse lying amid the pile of her clothes beside the bed, they determined she lived in the same building, but on another floor.
She was taken into custody to sober up, but not charged, the report said.
There was no indication why her key fit someone else's lock in the same building.Greed is for amateurs.

Jesus, if some drunk guy walked into a womans bedroom (regardless of wether his key fitted the lock or not), stripped off and climbed into bed with her, he'd be looking at some sort of a sexual assault charge.
The double standard is prevalent once again.

Intoxication is an excuse for women,but not for men,when it comes to sexual matter's,or just about everything else except drink driving.

Yes Indeed.
Even if a man is 3x more drunk than a woman, he is still claimed to be a rapist while having had consensual sex, even if she pestered him & plied him with drinks all night long in order to bed him. Apparently, women are incapable of wrong-doing ever.

I don't think the injustice is in that she wasn't charged, but that if it were a man, he almost certainly would be.
Why not charge? It's probably a first-time, it's a laughably embarrassing mistake that's probably taught her a lesson already, it's just not worth the huge cost of a trial.
In short, it's not a big deal AND SHOULD NOT BE EVEN IF IT WERE A MAN.
