Good point but like I said I'm getting to the point where I'm just about ready to write off the entire female gender as lost and hostlie and there for not worth any kind of respect, which is sad like I said this world is doomed, I mean males and females were never ment to be at each other's throats but since things have come to this I just don't see any point in bothering to be a good guy any more.

Yet how can I state unequivocally that men are not 'destructive, heroic brutes'? A very good point Douglas. It is now socially acceptable to make negative generalisations about men but not about women, just as in other ages it was socially acceptable to buy slaves. In fifty years people will look at the reported speech of this era and wonder how women could have been so hypocritical, so blind to the moral contradictions in what they were saying.

On the point about "destructive, heroic brutes" - whatever destruction men wreak is massively outweighed by what they create - otherwise we would be living in a dustbowl. Since we began to walk on two legs, the history of human progress has been the history of the masculine creative force. Women do not "create" life. They apply no original thought, method or energy during their pregnancies, nor is each pregnancy qualitatively different from any other. At best, they eat the right things and behave sensibly for nine months. Nature does the rest and when they need to give birth they get a nice clean hospital built by men, anaesthetics (developed by men), antibiotics (ditto), surgical processes and tools (ibid), and then they use the nice hospital complaints process (developed by men at the nagging of women) to moan that it's all still not good enough for them.

Next time you hear someone rubbishing men generally, remind them of who built the chair they are sitting on, who made the floor that the chair is placed on, who dug the raw materials out of the ground to make it, etc. It's particularly effective as there is literally no end to what men have done for society - and for the person you are arguing with - so you can keep going indefinitely and they can't get a word in edgeways. As a finale, you could ask why they are happy to say things that denigrate their own father.

If the feminists are right and women are the fountain of all life, and men are merely bystanders in the reproductive process, surely this makes women responsible for miscarriages? You can't take the credit when it goes right and not take the blame when it goes wrong.

I am reminded of what our deputy headmistress told us way back in the eighties. She got all the boys into a room together after someone had throw a girl's sanitary towels around the classroom (it turned out to be another girl who did this, but of course that didn't matter - no apology was given). She lectured us for half an hour about how immature we were and how we were soon to become irrelevant. It hasn't happened yet. Perhaps feminists realised that the best way to get the world to swallow their man-hating rubbish was to become teachers, where they would be able to influence young minds that couldn't fight back effectively. Is this what accounts for the 3 to 1 imbalance in female/male teachers?

And further still... my mum used to be an infant school teacher (ages 4 to 7). Her headmistress refused to even consider applications from men as she believed that any man who wanted to work with children must be a paedophile. This headmistress is now a magistrate.

The way women rationalize things, I'm not sure they even believe this type of behavior is slutty and even stick up for other women that behave this way. Men in general don't condemn men's negative betrayal but they see destructive behavior as a negative whereas women see their slutty behavior as acceptable.
