Your Kid is TOO OLD for it!

TIME magazine featured a lactation consultant and breastfeeding activist (ACTIVIST? We're far from short on breast feeders!) who still breast feeds her 3.5 year old son. 3 years old is TOO OLD for that, and if he's old enough that he can stand on a chair with no problems, then I think you can officially cut him off.

I don't care that your mother breastfed you until you were 6, your kid is still too old to do it!

Kids need to grow and mature. Keeping them hostage is a bad plan of action.

this boy is going to have a hard time when he gets to his early to mid teens - these kind of things always get out.

it would not surprise me in the slightest if this woman is acting out some kind of sick sexual fantasy. he's nearly 4 ffs..

You're all heard of "breeders" but have you heard of "feeders"? I've come across a couple of these women. Both depressed, irresponsible, child-level mature, single mothers who claim they need to breast feed their 2-3 year olds.

I don't know if anyone has done any research into feeders or if because they're women no one questions it.

A mother should breast feed her child for at least the first 6 months. However, there is always a time to stop.

Breast feeding is designed by nature to get a child to the point where he/shes has his/her first set of teeth to handle solid foods. Anything past that is more of a mothers need rather than the child's.
