Women are morally superior to men allegedly
Many feel they pour the clichéd blood, sweat and tears into their jobs, but for one woman in New York, that cliché become a little more concrete. According to the New York Post, Debbie Stevens, 47, donated a kidney for the benefit of her boss, Jackie Brucia, 61. Brucia and Stevens were not an exact match, but Stevens donated a kidney to someone else in the same pool, putting Brucia in a better position for an organ. Stevens donated her kidney on August 10, 2011, and then reported that she was under pressure to return to work less than a month later, on September 6. And then the story gets interesting.<embed src="http://cnettv.cnet.com/av/video/cbsnews/atlantis2/cbsnews_player_embed.swf" scale="noscale" salign="lt" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" background="#333333" width="425" height="279" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" FlashVars="si=254&&contentValue=50123650&shareUrl= http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-505266_162-57419718/suit-woman-fired-after-donating-kidney-for-boss/" />
Absolutely disgusting behaviour considering it's a member of the morally superior sex... *ahem*

I've got one answer to the problem: Traditional roles. Simple, concrete, and has a marvelous track record.
Our society puts a premium on beauty; common in declining cultures.

Re: Women are morally superior to men allegedly
Read this in the Mail yesterday, truly bizarre.
Funnily enough, the comment section was used a vehicle for misandry. Seems like every time a story like this pops up, these women come out of the woodwork with imaginary stories about men who have done the same thing to a woman
Naturally, I see straight through it.Last edited by scullion; 24th-April-2012 at 06:00 PM.

Re: Women are morally superior to men allegedly
More "women are morally superior" discussion here in this video.
Note how not one man went to help this girl, throughout the entire video we can see not a single male did anything to help... Only women helped this child.

Sorry, got it mixed.. turns out it was only men helping and not one single morally-superior female could be blessed.

Re: Women are morally superior to men allegedly
Funny how when I make this generalization I'm sexist but when we see evidence that the generalization is bloody obvious then what? Where are they now? Clitler? anyone?
When I do this, and I know I will, it will be comparable to the lame learning to walk, the blind being enabled to see and the suffocated breathing again. The sky isn't the limit; there are no limits.

Re: Women are morally superior to men allegedly
I'm only using this statement as a response to a recent claim that women are morally superior to men, showing not so much the absolute opposite, but certainly we're at least equally moral to women.

Re: Women are morally superior to men allegedly
Before you can use this as evidence to support the idea that men are at least equally moral to women shouldn't there be equal evidence of women being, at most, equally as moral as men? So what evidence of women's morals are you comparing this man's heroics to?
Granted, we would be immoral to take credit for what this man has done, however, it should be noted that this behavior is far more common in men. There is also the possibility that no woman saw this because they were busy protesting on behalf of father's reproductive and custody rights. When I do this, and I know I will, it will be comparable to the lame learning to walk, the blind being enabled to see and the suffocated breathing again. The sky isn't the limit; there are no limits.

Re: Women are morally superior to men allegedly
You'd have to be allowed to look at them long enough to realize they needed help, and looking at someone of the opposite gender for too long is sexual harassment *sarcasm implied*
I was in shocked at the ten second rule at work, if you make eye contact for more than 10 seconds, it's harassment. If I notice a guys zipper is down, I'm a perv. Couldn't be that telling a woman her skirt is tucked into her pantyhose is LESS HUMILIATING than walking around like that all day. I was extra pervy that day!
