Yes, no doubt in the Hollywood version it'll be the women denied food, medicine and shelter and everybody will decry what a terrible thing the Haiti disaster was for women. Followed by more fundraising for Haiti's women courtesy of a gullible and misinformed public.

Don't forget how the UN is running the food aid efforts. It is easy for women to get food but very hard for men to do so. The men are supposed to get some food from their wife, Mom, sister or whatever. If he can find them and if they are still alive.

The intent is to empower women and do a social experiment at this time of crisis.

Our hearts are ours. We should keep the warmth in there even if the night is cold. Indeed, especially.

Where will having warmth in my heart towards women get me?

Will it pay my bills?

Will it protect me from harm?

Will it get me a job?

What practical use is it of to me?

Granted, even though I don't have as much sympathy as I used to for women, in general; the sympathy I have for women is much more than that they'd have for you or I in a given situation. You can measure that by compassion.

It doesn't really matter to those darker elements of the corrupted media as to the stringency of morality enacted within said field.
