Woman Caught Arranging to Have Her Husband Killed
This is the kind of thing that I think about when I haear feminists say that a woman is three times more likely to be killed by her spouse than a man is. When things like this happen it is always recorded as a multiple offender rather than a murder perpetrated by a single person. This kind of thing happens all of the time and women are just as dangerous to thier spouses as men!
The vidio in the article is absolutely precious!
The story here.
MIAMI (AP) - A South Florida woman was arrested Wednesday for allegedly hiring an undercover police officer to kill her husband of six months, authorities said.
Dalia Dippolito, 26, was charged with solicitation to commit first-degree murder and taken to the Palm Beach County jail, Boynton Beach Police Department spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said. Bond had not yet been set and it was unclear if she had an attorney.
Dippolito gave an informant pictures of her husband, 38-year-old Michael Dippolito, and $1,200 for a hit man to purchase a handgun, according to a probable cause affidavit. She also offered to create an alibi for herself and detailed her husband's daily schedule.
An undercover officer posing as a hit man called Dippolito on Monday afternoon and arranged a meeting. The officer asked for $3,000 in cash and a key to the couple's home. The undercover officer later met Dippolito in a pharmacy parking lot and asked if she was sure she wanted her husband killed.
She laughed, according to the according to the affidavit, and said: "I will be very happy."
Dippolito discussed getaway routes, her home's security system, the location of her husband on Wednesday and the fee for the task, and the officer again asked if the woman was sure.
"I'm not going to change my mind," she responded, according to the documents. "I am 5,000 percent sure I want it done. When I set my mind to something, I get it done."
Authorities staged an elaborate crime scene outside the Dippolito home on Wednesday morning, complete with yellow crime tape and several police vehicles.
"The bottom line is, we wanted her to believe without question that when she arrived that her husband was dead," Slater said.
Officers then contacted Dippolito at her gym and told her to come to the house. When an officer told Dippolito that her husband was dead, she broke down in tears, a video of the operation shows.
Dippolito was then taken to the Boynton Beach Police Department, where she was told of the investigation and arrested. Michael Dippolito, who was informed of the case Wednesday morning, was also at the police department, as was the undercover officer who Dalia Dippolito believed was going to kill her husband, according to a police news release.
A call to a telephone number listed for Michael Dippolito connected with a signal that sounded like a fax machine. A call to a cell phone number for Dalia Dippolito was unanswered and a message was not immediately returned.
"It seems like it just hasn't hit him yet," Slater said of Michael Dippolito. "But the more he thinks about it, the more things that have happened over the past couple months are starting to make sense to him."

Do not ever suppose that a small group of people can never change the world. INDEED it is the only thing that ever has.

She was real convincing with her tearful routine.
Yep, violence by proxy, poisoning and claiming self-defence are all different means with which women evade showing up in statistics regarding spousal murder. This is the kind of thing that I think about when I haear feminists say that a woman is three times more likely to be killed by her spouse than a man is. I might be backwards-projecting here since I already know the story... but just look at her. She looks like the kind of a woman you would expect that from. She just looks like a schmuck-predator.

Totaly!
I see interviews of guys who get taken in by women like this, and while I am totaly not all about blaming the victim, they tend to have certain characteristics that make them vulnerable. Gulligility, nuturing, chilvilous etc. The guy was probably a lonely guy in his late fourties.Do not ever suppose that a small group of people can never change the world. INDEED it is the only thing that ever has.

That is chillingly alike to my former mother outlaws mentality. I recall on several occasions her boasting that she always gets her way... and indeed, she does - and woebetide anyone who gets in her way. When I set my mind to something, I get it done.►My blog / Your Blog

This also shows that women will often get men to do the dirty work for them, meaning once again they escape the statistics.

Re: Woman Caught Arranging to Have Her Husband Killed
I just cant believe this shit. The judge actualy left her name on the deed to this guys fucking house!
Story Here:
I have to say that I don't have much sympathy for this douchebag that she duped but, seriously, for a judge to do this after the obvious attempt to murder the guy is totaly wrong.Judge says wife accused of trying to kill husband will remain on their home's deed
By Missy Diaz, Sun Sentinel January 20, 2010
Dalia Dippolito's name will remain on the deed of the townhome she shared with the husband she's accused of trying to kill. At least for now.
Circuit Judge Chuck Burton on Wednesday denied a motion by Michael Dippolito's divorce attorneys to remove Dalia Dippolito's name from the Via de Pepi home's title, which was signed less than three weeks after the couple's Feb. 2, 2009, marriage.
Michael Dippolito's attorneys, Jason Brodie and Joshua Friedman, argued Tuesday that the quitclaim deed was invalid because one of the two witnesses was not physically in the room when the document was signed. Burton ruled that the signing of the deed complied with state law.
Brodie said Wednesday that it has not been decided if his client will appeal Burton's decision. Michael Dippolito, 39, will still seek to keep his wife from having a share in the house, arguing that she married him under false pretenses — to get his money and property.
"We believe she committed fraud against the husband and we believe [the deed] should be rescinded," Brodie said.
Andrew Pastor, Dalia Dippolito's attorney, was pleased with Burton's ruling and said there's no evidence of fraud on the part of his client.
"Everything has been voluntary and willful," Pastor said. "He wanted to do these things. He got married to her. Nobody forced him to do that. He bought a house and he put it in both of their names. It's very ordinary for husbands and wives to do that."
Dalia Dippolito, 27, is facing a murder solicitation charge for allegedly paying a hit man — who really was an undercover police officer — to shoot her new husband twice in the head. Police say it was Dalia Dippolito's third unsuccessful try to have him killed.
Michael Dippolito, who is serving a 28-year probation term for a phone scam, told police he met his wife a few months before they wed — when he was still married to another woman — and hired her as an escort.Do not ever suppose that a small group of people can never change the world. Notice the ending?
"Michael Dippolito, who is serving a 28-year probation term for a phone scam, told police he met his wife a few months before they wed — when he was still married to another woman — and hired her as an escort. "
You know, just to show that he kinda "deserved it" or something...
